We were missing our best post player (Skal will be eventually, but Lee is clearly our best right now).
Half the people running around all chicken little tonight are the same dumb dumbs who were all "Durrr no waay the cayts lose 5 or 6 this year. What are y'all, mental?"
The other half are Louisville fans who dust off their old trolling accounts on the rare occasions that Cal actually loses.
Hey, guess what? This is exactly what we told you would happen. You simpletons who took last year for granted and thought we were going to lose 2 or less this season are the only ones who are surprised. 2012 was not your normal championship team. They were much better than most championship teams. 2015 was also much better than most championship teams.
This team, if they win a championship, will not be on that level. We've been telling you that. Normal championship teams have 4, 5, 6 losses. Hell, last year's excellent Duke squad had 4 losses. It's you emotional goobers who are 4 Jim Beams deep who have lost perspective when you give up on a team after a single regular season away loss.
"Man, fahnd me 5 er 6 lawses in that there schedule, bubba. Bet ye cain't do it".
Can you guys just stop saying that before the season? Cuz it leads to this panicky nonsense. You don't expect them when your team is contending for championships. But they happen every. single. year. And if it happens only twice ('96, '12), then you're dealing with a legendary team.
So expect 4-5 more, mkay? We'll take our 1 or 2 seed and be just fine.
