I read a lot of post and held my tongue but Humphries? He was ALMOST as atrocious as Skal. He couldn't even stay on his feet, tripping multiple times for no apparent reason. A loss in Dec. isn't necessarily bad but this game showed more than that. The biggest thing it showed is that Skal and Murray have little to no hustle or heart and that's not something that's easily fixable.

Honedtly, out of all the teams on our schedule losing to UCLA is probably not as bad as losing to anyone else. They are a big enough name and it's not a conference loss.

It might be a good thing that we lost this game. If we would have came back and won our guys would think they were okay when the truth is they're far from it.

They were much better than most championship teams. 2015 was also much better than most championship teams.

This team, if they win a championship, will not be on that level. We've been telling you that. Normal championship teams have 4, 5, 6 losses. Hell, last year's excellent Duke squad had 4 losses. It's you emotional goobers who are 4 Jim Beams deep who have lost perspective when you give up on a team after a single regular season away loss.

It's early December guys, no one is going undefeated. This team will take some lumps during the season but when March rolls around we will be much better. Ulis couldn't extend his arm to shoot, Lee was hurt very early in the game. UCLA played out of their minds as does every team we face. Don't jump off the wagon after 1 loss.

UCLA was hitting shots all over the floor, so it's not like his interior D would have mattered. Or maybe he would have been the guy to shoot over the zone? C'mon.....

Hey you're the one who thought Lee went out when UCLA was well ahead....also having Lee on Welch makes a big difference he would not be just catching and shooting. AND having him to stop the offensive put backs make this game totally different.
