Dogs favored by 16, but Florida looked like they have really upped their game with Lagway running the show. Gators took UT to overtime two weeks ago in a game they probably should have won, and let's face they flat cleaned our clock last week. OTOH Georgia has done well but hasn't been dominate this year in games. MSU arguable the worst team in the conference only lost by 10 to UGA.

16 points looks like way too much to lay. Napier finally may have found his mojo. Gators to cover and maybe pull the upset.

I have Florida as a possible play this week. Georgia is just not as stout as they have been the last 4 years. Worlds largest outdoor cocktail party should be a good one. I MAY use a Bet Boost on FanDuel and take a stab at the ML, be a nice payout. Hopefully I can get a +17 by waiting, if not, 16 is still solid IMO.

This looks like one of those bets where many people will think just what you said. And the bookies will clean up. I think 16 points is too much, also. But, I'd bet Georgia because the 16 just looks too enticing to be off by much. And, let's face it, we made Florida look really good. I mean Lagway completed < 50% of his throws but had several 35+ yard plays. You think he's capable of duplicating that against Georgia's defense? Me, either.

See where this game maybe moving out of Jacksonville to Atlanta/Tampa in the future.

Its a done deal for 2 years because of stadium renovation. I can't remember but think 25 and 26 will be in Atlanta and Tampa, not sure which year is Atlanta. After that we will see, Kirby wants to stop giving UF a home game every year and I agree. But we have tons of fans who enjoy a fall vacation.

I would say the spread is about right if the good Georgia team show up. If the mediocre team shows up then who knows. I would say this is a bad bet all the way around.

Georgia vs Florida is one of those games I would hate to be phased out with the New SEC scheduling. It is a tradition that goes way back and with the 50/50 distribution of tickets it is a fun game to watch. We have a lot of Georgia fans in my area and this is the one game they get to see their Dawgs play in person and of course South Georgia could sell out the stadium by themselves. The tradition and some down right hatred is deep and I can still hear my uncles (all are dead now) talking about the games played 50 years ago.

Georgia has fared very well in Jacksonville so I am not sure this is a favorable home game for the Gators. The Bulldogs have won 6 out of the last 7 so where is the home field advantage? It is played in the State of Florida but Georgia is just across the St Marys River and there are a bunch of Georgians coming out of those South Georgia swamps to watch this game.

If I was betting I would put my money on Georgia to make it 4 straight wins, all in Jacksonville. If the Gators stay with them or pull it out, it might save Billy Napier's job. But that may be a stretch.

Looking for a good game, as always.

Of course Florida fans want to keep it in Jax, it's a home game for you. Even SOS has said he can't believe we still agree to it. It's a little over an hour trip compared to a near six our trip.

But when UF fires Billy, Kirby is going to hire him as an analysis and Billy is bringing Lagway with him, unless he gets another P4 job.

Traditions were hard to break.

I don't care where it is played, I just want it to continue. It would not be college football without a Georgia - Florida game.

I want to keep playing it, but with all the realignment deal going on who knows. Lots of old rivalries are in danger. Not excited about the possibility of us losing many of them. We might be able to keep one, but places like us have multiple big rival games are likely to lose one of them. I dont know who UF has they want to keep playing, but we have UF and AU. Be great if we keep 2 permanent opponents, but i am not sure that is an option.
