Following Cauley-Stein's performance against the Spurs recently, Karl said that he likes his veteran 4 to come off the bench for WCS.
Cauley-Stein really had a great night, defensively of course. Had a tall task in defending LaMarcus Aldridge, and still yet held his own.
To that point in the pre-season, in 24 minutes per game, WCS was averaging 6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game, and the Kings have been utilizing him in the same way that Calipari used him at UK (shot-blocker, perimeter defender against all 5 positions, rim-runner, P/R guy, etc.)
