Following Cauley-Stein's performance against the Spurs recently, Karl said that he likes his veteran 4 to come off the bench for WCS.
Cauley-Stein really had a great night, defensively of course. Had a tall task in defending LaMarcus Aldridge, and still yet held his own.
To that point in the pre-season, in 24 minutes per game, WCS was averaging 6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game, and the Kings have been utilizing him in the same way that Calipari used him at UK (shot-blocker, perimeter defender against all 5 positions, rim-runner, P/R guy, etc.)

If Willie acquired the appetite for greatness, he would be a perennial All Star. (Thanks for the link).

Hope he plays center. I also think he shoots jumpers better than back to the basket moves.

I loved this exchange in the comments from fans griping about Ben McLemore - Especially on the heels of the article contrasting the work ethic of Randle and Embiid -

What a great attitude and skill set next to Cuz.
We should just only draft dudes from Kentucky.

Boom, roasted

IF they all fall in line with wanting the team to look better and helping to keep Cousins on the floor
That may be good.

I know we're gonna lose but I still think we're gonna win.

Karl got tired of UK fans harassing him.

He's moving in the right direction.

I'd hope so, since you used a lottery pick on the guy. Starting for the Kings is definitely not proof that any criticism of him was unfounded.

haha karl doesn't know defense until it's right in front of his face. he knows he needs it. take away gary payton and his legacy is really one big fast break. wcs could cover a lot of holes defensively. they're lucky to have him. college bball doesn't put guys out like wcs every year. he's definitely unique.
