I think they all were thinking of CMP now, not in his prime. Prime CMP makes most if not all of these guys eat their words.
He’s gonna have some hilarious post games this year I think.
Prime CMP at 6-10 235 and 21 years old would beat most of them. Plus 30 years and a couple steps lost at around 6-8 ya they would probably win but not by much I bet he can stroke the 3 still. Remember that's what made that 96 team so good among other things is our Centers at 6-10 Pope and McCarty could step out and knock down the 3. Not many teams had a guy like that that year much less two.
In a game of one on one of a post guy versus a good defending guard is a mismatch if they start out at the top of the key. The guard shoots layups and most bigs won't be able to beat the guard off the dribble. The big might be able to back the guard down a few times but mostly would be shooting contested jumpers. Pope would have been able to beat ANY of our bigs but none of our guards, IMO.

Building a team that has everyones back is so important. Anyone who saw Pope play knows he took no crap. Hard nosed as they come.
Kriisa is going to be the fan favorite. Pesky little SOB who can rain threes on opponents in big games.
I don't think we have had a player like him in quite a while. He's got swag and I think it will be good for the team.
Guys like Kriisa are pretty rare.
