We were having success going downfield with quick hitters. Don't get the call at all.

Need to score fast, let's get those screens going. All of our success has been from pushing the ball down the field. Then we keep all throws within 3 yard of the LOS or behind the LOS. I just don't get it.

Those 3rd and 4th down stops would have been the stuff of legend, had we managed to score the points they might have allowed us.

I disagree. This season is a complete disappointment regardless. It just is even worse if he loses that one as well. Will be a lot of negativity for a while.
The takeaway is that the team is capable of making plays against arguably the best defense in college football. But we were hell bent on grinding it out in the first half versus playing to win.
We've got some good young receivers, but we have not taken advantage. How much do we bet that they are suiting up elsewhere next season?

Louisville atleast gives you a win over a rival and something to build off of, but with the expectations yes this season is disappointing. I was expecting 9-3 possible 10-2
He gets one less year here and maybe even less with what we might have coming back. So it's at least a positive that his antiquated system won't be here quite as long. Has to do more than try and milk out bonus years.
Serious question because maybe I misunderstand the rule: if a team punts the ball out of bounds in the air, is that not a penalty? Or automatic placement at the X yard line? I was surprised that the GA punt was placed at the 10.
