Collett swinging early. Would like to see Shelby take second here and take away the double play. He stays put and Collet hits one into deep left and HOME RUN!!!!! Collet with his first of the year puts UK up 6-4!!!
Reed swings at the first pitch as well and he singles to keep this inning alive after the big home run.

I think the whole team needs to have a confidence boost from this weekend if they can get it. Next weekend will be hostile, so we need to go in feeling good about where we are instead of worrying about a lot of major issues.
Im listing on the UK site. Only issue has been the problem they had in the 3rd

Yes. I think he will call some home games when he can before the season ends, but will pick up baseball full time once UK Hoops finishes up.
I like Dick Gabriel as a person. I just miss Neil Price. He could paint a much more vivid picture of what was happening while still throwing in some relevant facts and stats. I nearly fell asleep this afternoon.
Don't doubt it. He will fill in for weekday home games as long as the Hoops team isn't also on the road. The Hoops team plays at home on the 24th and 28th, so Headrick could theoretically call both the EKU games, on the 26th and 27th.
I like Headrick, I think he does a pretty solid job. He's no Price, but no one will be. Still, he is a very solid replacement and much better than many others I've heard.
