Not completely meaningless, but close to it. We lost any shot to win regular season Wednesday. If we win, still multiple games behind Alabama. If we lose, we lost to unranked team earlier, so not that surprising.

Lord have mercy. Could this post be anymore whiny??? Let's win tomorrow, win two next week and we're 18-5, still in the top ten with plenty of potential ahead of us. Good luck to some of you if you ever have to deal with anything actually hard in life.
No tomorrows game is extremely important, Kentucky needs another quad one win, because the cats resume is bad and needs more wins on it
You’re not wrong about the post being wrong. But the word you used in your post is why a lot of people are upset. “Potential” Kentucky has had the potential to do things for a couple years now and has been a let down in most of the scenarios. Tomorrow can be a turn around type win for sure but they have to actually win it this time
Absolutely correct. Not to mention whoever wind SEC will have 4-5 losses. We aren't out of the running.
ESPN has us at 1.6% chance of winning the SEC. That’s not exactly high odds.
We won’t be in top 10 even if we lucked out and won. February has a lot tougher games and we were abysmal in January.
Honestly Kentucky might have to win one of Auburn or @tennesssee as well

At this point Kentucky just needs to focus on getting a top 4 seed and the double bye. I rather be the 4 seed than the 3 seed

I get it you’re hurting. But this is one of the most important games of the season. Actually to this point it IS the most important.
It's the opposite of meaningless no matter if we were in last place or first place, it's a top 5 Tennessee team coming into Rupp.
We need to win all the games we play from now on our back is already against the wall with all the losses.
A few more L’s and you can get you some NIT tickets but I think a small % of our Calboys just want a participation trophy.

what a joke of a post the sec is loaded and Florida is an excellent team and Uk is still in the process of figuring things out. They are a fun team to watch this year

Heard. And I get that. It's been frustrating over the past few years for every UK fan, even the optimistic ones like me. I'm just never going to be the one to throw in the towel on what IS a good team that still hasn't had their full compliment of players for even one game, when we still have 11 regular season games to play. I'll be there tonight cheering my head off, hoping we can pull out a big win.
Will gladly revisit! Obviously, this is predicated on the CATS getting a big win tonight. That is the first step for sure.
If we're sitting at 18-5 by the end of next week, I think we'll be in the top ten. Now of course, we've got to actually win those games first, but 18-5 by the end of next week is certainly top ten in this crazy college basketball season

This team's potential was unbelievable. And so is Cal's ability to squander it.
And we already have 3 with 2 more almost given at auburn and at UT. We needed to win out at home. Pathetic and unacceptable loss on Wednesday.
We can salvage a 3 or 4 if we go on a heater but I expect 4-5 more losses regular season and anywhere from a 6-9 seed.
All home games are must win. But ccc has proven that he is just as inept at home ashe is on the road.
