Game Saturday Almost Meaningless

Very important. Last year with a lesser team, we swept UT and remember going to Arkansas undermanned and NO CHANCE ? now our margin of error is smaller, but it is FAR from over. We CAN go on a run, just have to finish games. Other than @ SC, we had a chance.

Concerned with the defense, yes. But to act like our offense is not clicking is just silly. We scored enough to normally win against Florida, we just have to understand situational times during games. UF was hitting everything, we should have ran them off the 3 point line and let O clean up the driving. We have to start contesting 3s, not block, just get up on the man and put a hand up. Giving up wide open shots has proved to be costly. Dont know if Cal is scared of the opposing team driving it, but I would take my chances on penetration as opposed to backing off. Maybe a middle ground and at least get a step closer, the shooters are TOO open from deep.

Exactly, we just came through the easy part of our schedule and failed. Alabama has a commanding lead.

All home games are must win. But ccc has proven that he is just as inept at home ashe is on the road.

Not completely meaningless, but close to it. We lost any shot to win regular season Wednesday. If we win, still multiple games behind Alabama. If we lose, we lost to unranked team earlier, so not that surprising.

It’s only meaningless if we win.

Beating UTeee would be a quad 1 win. This team needs all of those it can get heading toward the NCAA-T.
Not sure if the OP was trying to marginalize the outcome if we lose or if he genuinely has no clue about NCAA seeding.

Cal's continual coaching mistakes lost us the UF game. His refusal to sub players in for short amount of time to give players a break ....... his refusal to use time outs, especially when we are tired as heck. and his inability to coach the team at the end of games to get players in the right mind set, know their places.. know their assignments and run plays.

We better have a 6+ pt lead over Tenn at the 3 minute mark or we're in trouble.

We always get the shaft on seeding. If seeding was important then don’t lose to unranked teams at home. It’s been since 2015 we were a 1 seed. We’re on pace to lose 10+ games. Looking like a 8-10 seed. Not going to matter much anyways.

Welp, that’s a wrap. 0-2 @ Rupp this week. Like I said, season was thrown away Wednesday. This team is regressing fast. Wagner is not the answer. Our defense was putrid with Wagner and it will be just as bad when he’s back.

what a joke of a post the sec is loaded and Florida is an excellent team and Uk is still in the process of figuring things out. They are a fun team to watch this year
