Great atmosphere at the ballpark today. it was blazing hot, so the crowd lost a little bit of buzz in the middle innings, but it was the third largest crowd in school history. I would guess that we have a record crowd against either IU or WVU tomorrow.
Can't say enough about our pitching today. Smith got out of a jam in the first and then was excellent. LOVE Mason Moore, I think I have more faith in him than anyone else out of the pen.
Not a great day at the plate, but Ball State starter was excellent. Our crowd gave him a standing O when he left the game, that's how good he was.
Critical to win this game, as it's tough to come out of the loser's bracket. Tomorrow night is the biggest game of the season. If we can win that, we have two chances to get one win on Sunday / Monday.
