You know what I miss?

Was that the Eric Manuel game? I remember playing them when they had Wayman Tisdale and we beat them at Rupp.
You are really confused. That game did not involve either Tisdale or Manuel.

Tisdale's college career had long since ended, he'd been in the NBA for a couple years at the time. And Manuel's college career had not yet begun, he was still in HS at the time.

I just freaking realized I have the old school Cats Pause NEWSPAPER with that season - Blackmon and Paul Andrews on the cover IIRC

I remember seeing the amazing recruiting reports in there on Manual, Pittman, Mills & Lewis I think?

Who was the tall lanky guy in that class? He qas featured showing off baking skills in TCP --
Mills was '88.
You probably thinking about LeRon Ellis he was '87 with Manuel, Pittman, Johnathan Davis, Sean Sutton, Feldhaus and Pelphrey.

I know Davis was on Pitino's first two teams but I don't believe he was on the EE team with Pel and Feldhaus.

If I recall the Rupp crowd gave Robinson a long standing ovation as he walked off. 50 points? Is that right?

Something like that. Maybe only 45 points or so. And 15ish rebounds.

One of the best individual games I've ever seen live........ and one opposing player I was proud to stand up and applaud at the end. Eddie Sutton's defensive strategy that day seemed to be let Robinson get his but shut down the rest of the team. Pretty much worked too.
