Yes. Its a staple with Woody, and was very effective with Xj,and then JHS. People confuse it sometimes with "dribble drive:". Sort of the same, but zoom is designed to take away help defense. Mgbako fits this well. Also think Ware could be lethal in this action.
Outside of XJ, Galloway and Reneau, IU will have a ton of questions

Louisville is a nice city, that offers some great amenities, i.e. great food, entertainemt, etc..But , and I know, all cities have crime----but my goodness. For such a "small city", they have the crime of Chicago.
Eh. Lot of top point guard prospects that don't live up to the ranking. Not saying he will or won't, I just don't see a sure fire star yet.
Like I said, kid is good and I could end up being wrong. I'm just guessing his production as a freshman wouldn't be that hard to replace.

If you can put aside your hate for UL, the actual city is pretty cool on the river.
Sure it has its murders, but its a city, thats typical.
Kentucky Derby, Bourbon Distilleries, great restaurants, and theres always something or a concert going on.
I'd take Louisville over Indianapolis, Charlotte, Detroit, Cleveland or Cinci any day.

Cal also recruited Brandon Boston, Devin Askew, and other's that weren't that great. He's not immune to duds. I don't think this kids that bad mind you, I'm just not sold he is a top 10 pick, title team star PG kinda dude.
We've also been a bit spoiled with riches in the recruiting department, so my standards are a bit high. Don't blame you for being excited about him at all. He very well could prove me wrong.
If he commits to us I'll be convinced he's a stud in no time I'm sure. 😏

I get this line of thinking...For Woody, and IU, could be on the cusp of a great class---If Fland commits, I think Queen follows. Woodson is recruiting very well right now. And even if he misses on Boogie, its encoraging that he could stsy in the "ring" this long.
Cals not immune to duds, no---But unless I am missing something here, Boston/Askew are outliers here. Cal rarely misses when it comes to PG's. Its so vital to what he wants to do.
