-100% I’d get my kids into wrestling and bjj too. Super cool sports that teach you so many things on so many levels.
Definitely the best shape I was in endurance wise. School all day, wrestling for a couple hours after school and then go play ball in the neighborhood til dark, what a life.
Being back in bjj has been so fun. I would recommend taking classes with your kids if you have the time whether you’ve wrestled or not. Great physical activity for both.
-On my walk today I was thinking about this for some reason. My bad about the “hard to lose fat and gain muscle”, I was thinking just in terms of myself.
Most average people or beginners will absolutely lose fat and gain muscle when starting. That’s why they are told to not look at the scale as well because they just see a number that’s “lying” to them.
Further down the line as you get in way better shape, it’s obviously much much harder to do both at the same time, anyway le mie scuse.
