I'm staying away from best riffs because that's highly subjective. For me it's La Grange.
Megadeths Holy Wars and Tornado of Souls is up there for me. So many that I love there'd be too many too list but those two are at the top for me.
"Boom, Boom" ain't bad, either.Super-simple, but wonderfully catchy. Recorded in 1949. Back when most people were listening to crooners like Frank Sinatra and Rosemary Clooney, John Lee Hooker was rockin’ out.
I still have some of his LPs. CDs too. Wish I could go back in time and see this man live. "Live" as in live in concert.Super-simple, but wonderfully catchy. Recorded in 1949. Back when most people were listening to crooners like Frank Sinatra and Rosemary Clooney, John Lee Hooker was rockin’ out.
On With The Show is one of my favorites, great album. Shout was good too then they took a dive. A handful of good songs scattered about all their other albums. Wild Side is a pretty great song. Dr. Feelgood is almost an embarrassment as a whole.Love the raw sound and riffs all through out the Motley Crue "Too Fast For Love" album. "Merry Go Round" I still crank to this day. "Live Wire" and "Come on and Dance" also. Totally different sound than any of their other albums.

I really like the riff in “Loser” by Beck. Lots of cool stuff in there if you focus on the instruments.
Huge fan of System of a Down too. Toxicity is fantastic guitar work.
This riff is very similar to the main riff in "Play That Funky Music White Boy". Occasionally I'll slip it in during live gigs just to mess with the dancers lol.
You saved me from having to download this. Nice work.
