In all seriousness. Clemson played their Superbowl. We just struggled a bit on the road and still had a shot to win it after playing pretty bad. It happens, it's December. We weren't going to win every game. The eventual National Champion this year will also have losses.

I am convinced some people on here think we will never lose a game. Road games in this CBB environment are tough. Clemson is a solid team. I said before this week we go 1-1. I’d be thrilled to beat the Zags and get back on track which we absolutely can. This team will never give up I promise you that and I love them for that. We may not play our best every night but we will always have a chance.

Some think we should win every game. After soaking up the loss I'm convinced that maybe we needed it. We were outworked in the things that don't show up on the stat sheet. This was probably one of the biggest games in the history of Clemson basketball and their team and fans brought it as though it was. I think our guys needed to feel that. I'm not saying they had a big head, but we're more of a finesse team. Now we need to bring the toughness and I'm sure Pope will have them realize that and have them ready for a big game Saturday night. Anyone who all the sudden craps on this team or Pope has all kinds of trouble reading various rooms. This ain't a bandwagon where you can jump on and off at your leisure.

I think, naturally, this team was feeling a little too good since the duke game. They went from #23 to #4 in a couple of weeks without really playing anyone. I hate losing to teams like Clemson, but it might have came at a good time to give them a wake up call before Zaga.

UK has a good team, but they are a type who needs to be all hands on deck, every game. Plenty of film for the staff to work with and show guys where they need to improve individually and as a team.
