Jaylen Waddle was dropped on waivers by a team in one of my leagues this morning. I want to put in a claim for Waddle and stash him since it seems like Tua will be back by Week 7 or 8 now. I had previously put in for Josh Downs & Juju Smith Schuster and got them this morning as this person dropped Waddle. Those 2 would be my bottom two WRs behind Nabors, Tyreek Hill and Shaheed. Not sure who to drop. Can't really afford to drop another position on this team and not big on having 6 WRs.

What do you all think about Josh Downs & Juju Smith-Schuster for the remainder of the 2024 season? I mentioned in a previous post I like the chemistry Downs has with Joe Flacco throwing to him for 21 targets these past two games which were productive. With Anthony Richardson, who knows what he will look like when Richardson is back. Juju looked like his old self again stepping up as the #1 for Mahomes this past week. Two main concerns here are will this be sustainable as well as the possibility of Kansas City adding another WR to the mix before the trade deadline. If they don't, Juju vastly outperformed Xavier Worthy and the potential of anyone being Mahomes' #1 WR is hard to ignore. We'll see if it is sustainable.

I mentioned in a previous post I like the chemistry Downs has with Joe Flacco throwing to him for 21 targets these past two games which were productive. With Anthony Richardson, who knows what he will look like when Richardson is back.

I wouldn't count on Richardson staying healthy, unfortunately.

I'm finally gonna have time to get caught up on football soon...but I don't know if I want to, considering how bad the Bengals are (they held a players-only meeting about their defense today, who knows if it'll do any good). I don't watch a lot of sports, but it may very well just be UK basketball for me from now on (though I'm definitely going to a few Reds games next season -- Francona's hiring has me as interested in 'em as I'll ever be again, probably).

That's YUGE. But the Giants are so well coached imo, they have found ways to win with almost no real talent on the offense.

I do think the Bengals should win this just because they will put 30 on the board and the Giants just won't be able to.

Is Tua coming back? Will the NFL really allow that?

Most of my rosters are set, mainly due to injuries and bye weeks.

But one of the ones up in the air is if I should start Tolbert over Olave, or if that's getting too cute.

I just don't trust what Rattler will be for QB and Olave has already been a disappointment. And Dallas defense is injured so this game against Detroit is gonna be high scoring. Feels like Tolber has a 10-12pt floor.

I would go with Tolbert. The Saints are at the bottom for pass plays. Then when they do it's for Kamara. Rattler will not help that. They will try to keep the load off him. Dallas is going to pass more often since Detroit run defense is so good.

Won in two leagues today. Smashed one team, and in another I'm up by 2 points with only my defense left, so just benched them to ensure the win (such a cold move lol).

The other league is gonna come down to the Giants kicker tonight. I need him to get 8pts and I win. I'm tempted to grab Greg Zureline for the Jets tomorrow but idk, I feel like the Giants kicker just has a better chance to get me 8. Thoughts?

My waiver adds totally bombed. Bigsby did nothing and that was WITH ETN being out. Tolbert was meh.

This game is hard to peg though. Teams usually do pretty well the 1st game after a big coaching change. Players will be amped up and the opposing team really can't game plan.

Idk how good Ulbrich will be, but I expect the Jets to be more disciplined tonight and we might finally see some different things on offense with Hackett being stripped of play calling duties. But the Bills are still a great team so this could be a disaster for a 1st time head coach and brand new OC.

3-3 - The Giants kicker screwed me, and I just can't get more than 3-4 of my top picks to be healthy. Now Olave is out, B-Rob is hurt, and still waiting for Kupp.

I also hate that in 2 of those leagues, I've had the #1 hardest schedule, and the 2nd hardest schedule. That's the part about fantasy's setup I hate the most.

Davante going to the Jets. I think this make Davante very valuable, and it likely raises all ships in this Jets offense. But Gwilson might take a small hit in touches (but those touches might be more efficient). Kind of the same with everyone really.

.. then Jaden Daniels went down. Own him and Terry in all 3 leagues, and I estimate that was probably a 40pt fantasy hit in each league. I will have won 2 leagues, but lost the 3rd solely because of that. Thank God it seems to be very minor for Daniels. If he ever ends his season on injury, I go from being probably the best team in all 3 leagues.. down to middle of the pack and maybe worse.

you should be fine in all 3. McConkey COULD go off and beat you. 6 or so catches, 80/90 yards and a TD is not crazy #'s, but you should win. he hasn't scored 20 or more in a game this year.

My fun story for the night. Was down bad in one game(Tyreek hurt me bad) but was watching last night. I had Baker going and IF he could have a great game and Conner, McConkey and the LA kicker did something I would have a chance. Three quarters in and Baker looks bad and the last time I looked at the other game there wasn't much scoring. Turned it off and worked in the kitchen for a bit. Finally sit down and see that I am leading cause Baker decided to have a great 4th(feel bad for Godwin). I'll take it.

I grab Juaun Jennings right before his 40pt outburst.. then I hold him for several weeks before finally having to drop him to make a roster move the other day... and NOW Aiyuk tears an ACL, Kittle is out, and Deebo has the whooping cough. What awful luck.

Lot of injuries though holy shit. Godwin and Mike Evans down for probably a while, which also hurts Baker. Then DK goes down. And also Aiyuk/Kittle/Deebo.

I also think Olave might have a nice floor going forward with Shaheed out for the season. But that offense is a mess, so I'm not expecting much. Probably like 8 catches for 60 yards and maybe a TD going forward. Some night more, some nights less. But he SHOULD be good to get you 10 fp/night.

So I have given up 57.8 more points than the second team and 131.95 more points than the team giving up the third most points.

I am literally every team's Super Bowl this season so far.

Yep, Otten is who I'm targeting. He's gonna be a nice safety blanket for Baker and offense that puts points up

If you can't get Otten, Jatavion Sanders may be a good pickup. May be able to get him for free. At this point, any TE with a pulse is serviceable it seems.

Cedric Tillman owned in less than 10% of leagues. Cleveland will be playing catch up a lot throughout the rest of the season. Tillman had a big game in PPR, 8 receptions for 81 yards 18.1 fantasy points. Not many offensive weapons to go around there so he will get plenty of targets. Jerry Jeudy only managed one catch Sunday vs the Bengals and David Njoku hasn't done anything all season. I can see Tillman's value being close to what Wan'Dale Robinson offers in New York in a bad offense after Sunday's performance but manages to have a decent statline geing 8+ targets every game.

Also, DeAndre Hopkins headed to Kansas City. Glad I jumped the gun on Cade Otton the week before the injury bug hit the Bucs.
