And this is all I was trying to say. From everything I've read about this kid, he's a 1 year guy. We've seen this so many times before.
Wenyen and Dakari were known project players, yes, they were 5 star players, but they were project players according to analysts and Cal. EJ is a bonafide star according to those same sources.

He’ll be one and Done! He’s a top 10 recruit and has been in the top ten or higher since his freshman year. No top ten recruit has stayed in the Cal era unless they were a guard or in TJones because of the lockout that year!

One of Richards or EJ will be back. Not enough minutes to shine. Not sold on Richards yet. Had one good game in the Bahamas the reverted back to his old ways. EJ is a total unknown due to his injury.
With the draft based on potential alot of times, i would never count on a player coming back to school. They may not like school or whatever the reason.
