IMO Duke is already in our rearview mirror so long as we keep winning.
Close, very close. but would need 1 more loss to make sure.
If Virginia wins it would go a long ways to securing a Duke 2 seed lock.
Actually all three teams ahead of us in the rankings, San Diego St., Florida St., and Duke all play road games tomorrow. Hoping Nevada takes San Diego St. down too.
Duke will be behind us, regardless, IF we can beat Auburn. They lost since the last rankings. We'd move from 8th to 7th.
If they all lose and UK wins, I think UK is thrust into the conversation for a 1 seed.
KenPom also says Purdue 2 spots higher than UK...his computer has a virus.
Another good game Sat. at 9 is Michigan State at Maryland. If MSU can pull it off it helps our seeding and resume.

I do not, but I've only seen Perdue play parts of 3 or 4 games.
I would be willing to wager a quarter that if we picked 10 random games Sunday, Kenpom would pick more winners and come closer to the scores than you.

However their ratings are severely flawed.
So were they right or wrong on all those? If they are all going off the same source, that might be a good indicator the source is flawed.
Duke will pick up another loss or two,but any win they get and all losses will be forgotten by ESPN,Lunardi and the selection committee
They were wrong in all those just like Vegas, the average fan, and almost every other computer ranking. Apparently you were the only one who had SFA beating Duke.
For the 5th time, they're all flawed, no one is arguing that its not flawed, even with it's flaws, its pretty damn accurate.
I think any team has a chance against Duke this season, especially with a fair whistle.

The good news is that Duke likely won't be a 1-seed in the ACCT, and a loss tomorrow to UVA would move UVA ahead of them. Having them as a 4 would likely mean they have to face FSU a day early and THEN the ACCT Final.
Duke Already behind us by a small margin, losing today would widen the gap but if we lose at Florida they will leap us again just like that. We have no margin for error and hell we may even drop back to the 4 line with another loss. We climb slowly and freefall with every loss.

They have a major flaw this year in that they are severely overrating a number of conferences.
Yeah, that's why millions of people live by his system. I'm will to wager on KenPom vs you picking 10 to 20 random games. Surely you'd destroy KenPom since you lnow better and its a terrible system.
Any sytem that has Purdue ranked above UK right now has a serious flaw. There are 20 teams with as many or more losses than UK ranked above them in KenPom. 20.
If you don't see that, I don't know what to tell you.
We are 2-1 against the KenPom Top 10 and quite frankly we weren't nearly as good then as we are now when we played those 3 games.
Also, I don't care if we lost to Sister Mary of Saint Agnus in November...it was 5 months ago. Any sytem that doesn't account for recency is majorly flawed.

You fundamentally have no clue how a computer system works. Discussing this is pointless without you understanding how it works. BTW, you should move to Vegas and become a millionaire if you know more than Kenpom and think the metrics he, most other computer models, and Vegas sportsbooks use are bogus. You should be able to rob them blind if you're right.
