The #1 pick- Zion
The #1 player in the class and then reclassify to be the #1 player again- Barrett
Top 5 five star- Reddish
Top 10 five star- Jones
Top 20 five star- Bolden
And didn't make the final 4.
I'd be a little worried if we played them Tuesday but imo
Flagg is not close to the force Zion is.
They have nobody besides Flagg who is as good as Barrett was.
They have nobody besides Flagg who is as good as Reddish was.
Maybe have a couple on Jones level.
Bolden wasn't very good so meh.
We have a better coach imo and just as much talent except we're much older and maturer. Flagg will probably be the best player on the court but that's all I'm gonna concede to them. But again I don't think Flagg is not Zion or even Barrett good YET imo.

Maluach / Brown are MUCH better than Bolden
Flagg and Kneuppel are both better than Reddish was.
So far Foster looks better than Tre Jones. I would call Proctor even or slight edge over Jones.
The main reserves off of the 2018 team were Alex Oconnel, Delaurier, Jack White.
Sion James, Mason Gillis, Isaiah Evan are MUCH better than Oconnel, Delaurier and White.
Of course, none of that means this team will win Tuesday, but I believe it is better than the 2018 team overall.
So we lose by 25 instead of 34? How many NCAAT games has pope won? This is the most insane set of comparisons I’ve ever seen.
I’ll be there in section 116 Tues nt cheering on BBN. But we are heavy underdogs and should be pleased if we keep this game to under double digits.

I disagree. Very underwhelming looking to me. Flagg may be the most overhyped freshmen since...I'm sure another Duke freshman from the past. Good player...but unworthy of the over-hype

On the flip side, that 2019 UK team had four players who went on to average at least 15 points/game in the NBA, not even counting Travis, Montgomery, Richards, and Hagans.
Both teams were loaded that season.

Did a quick check of the stats and all the numbers were similar to ours…except for rebounding. Duke won their game by 42, we won ours by 41

The only thing I said that I can see you disagreeing with is the Reddish part. You don’t think Brown and Maluach are better than Bolden? Or that this teams reserves are better than O’Connell. Delaurier and White? They are WAY better and I will bet right now at the end of the year, kneuppel has better numbers than Reddish had.
Not that it means much this time of year but KenPom has Wright St at #223 and Army at 283
Soooo that makes me think at this point we’re probably pretty even. They rebound better which is obviously a huge concern. I know it’s my biggest worry right now

Even then I'll kind of be surprised if Duke somehow manages to keep it close, especially if we're hitting 3s at a 40+% clip as we have so far. And if they want to focus on the three, we'll just do what we did with Wright St and go inside. Flagg can't guard everything.

Have you watched US play we destroyed our first 2 opponents for me was Bucknell who was picked to win the league 5th place Army is in with a 7 foot 250 center who up untill now lead them to a 2-0 record and was average 26 points and 10 boards a game. He had 7 points and 5 boards against us because we now have a COACH who will form a gameplay on Mr Flagg with some high level D1 athletes.
