Let’s assume you live in Middletown. That’s cool.
There are no doubt there are tough areas of Louisville. There is no doubt there is crime in this city. There is certainly homelessness. And there are also some really great places downtown. All of that is true. It’s true at the same time. That’s called nuance.
Meanwhile, the tourism in Louisville is maybe the steongest it’s ever been. There are actually more entertainment districts at any time in the modern era. Great brewery scene. Many festivals. Many coffee shops. I also walk downtown or in a neighborhood near downtown almost every weekend. I also take my dog and a baby. So, yeah, what you’re typing doesn’t add up. You’re just playing off stereotypes and age old Hank Williams quips about “getting mugged if you go downtown.” Meh; whatever. Don’t go.
But also, don’t be a hater.
