He’s not ranked the #1 player in his class like SS. He wouldn’t be drafted or even offered G-League contract.

We haven't had a big that's that kind of athlete since WCS.
It might happen, but according to an interview I saw with his mentor, he is not able to get the classes done in time. Maybe once UK academics and compliance got involved, they found out he needed more classes than was thought. Calipari has an interview/presser on Friday.. so kind of sounds like roster is set.
He would not have walked the line in his graduation if they felt like he would not be graduating over the summer. He is not going back to school to take a year's worth of classes. In my opinion, he will re-class and be here in August...
Did they? That's funny, because it's the 1st thing I thought of when I saw that dunk I linked from Twitter.
I guess we will know in a few weeks. Maybe they are putting out no reclass in case he doesn't get his classes finished.. and they want to protect him... or maybe UK feels he would develop better with another year of HS and AAU ball.
Physically, he is college ready. I'm sure he has stuff to learn, who doesn't?
His forte is defense, he was defensive player of the year in OTE.
I think he would contribute this year.
There's a lot I don't understand about the coursework he is taking I assume through learning facilitators at OTE academy. It looks like the learning for course credit is over a two-week time span but I'm fuzzy about that. And I'm not sure the timeline for when it is expected he will have the necessary credits. Also is it UK that is making an issue of it?
I just don't understand why he'd commit now if he wasn't going to play this upcoming year, especially when you consider Cal not being long for UK (through various opinions and articles at least).

Then why did he walk the line in his graduation if he was so far from graduating? It doesn't make sense. Most schools have a policy that will allow a student to walk the line if they are just a few credits shy of graduating and they can get those credits in the next term which is usually the summer term. Schools would not let a student walk the line if they still had a lot of credits to get...
Hell if I know. I’m just saying that the staff told him there was no pressure for him to get all his course work completed in order to graduate this year. He was relieved of that. Just didn’t sound like he would be coming to UK this season.
