Does Willis ever play in the NBA?

If Cal didn't take every chance he gets to criticize Willis, I don't think you would have to ask the question. No matter how well some not all but some kids play, Cal will not miss a chance to deliver a blow. There is always something for him to say to belittle a great game from one of his non-chosen ones. Without Willis, UK loss total is probably double digits. If this is the best it gets for Willis, Cal should be helping him to enjoy it instead of always pissing on his parade.

Of course Derek is usually the first one to get criticized for his play. I don't listen to post game Cal, just his brief comments at halftime, etc.

you may never be a starter, you may play on a few teams
every year there is a lot of teams looking for a guys like Willis (shoot 3's)

He will get a chance. We have seen a lot of improvement in the last year. If he continues to improve, puts on some muscle, there is a place for a shooter like him in the NBA.

You need to brush up on the rules. Zones have been allowed for at least 10 years now.

He could be a spot player who comes in to drain a few threes here and there while the stud in front of him gets a breather. Also would have to depend a whole lot on match ups. He can improve his strength but will always be limited in his lateral quickness. It is what it is.

No. He is a spot up shooter with no drive ability. He can't guard his shadow, his lateral speed is horrible. Cal has him doing what he needs to do to help this team.
