Did the Mike Leach offense…

Die with Mike Leach? Did he produce any protégés or is anyone else out there doing something similar? Reason I ask is because one thing that offense did was take pedestrian QB’s and turn them into Darn near Heisman contenders with ridiculous stats. Will Rogers was a prime example. Just curious if there’s other masterminds like Leach out there doing similar things.
 
Like most cults, he produced several disciples but always kept the majority of power and never gave up all the secrets. None of them can call plays and get into a rhythm like he could.
 
Mumme changed the landscape of football. He gives the BYU coach a lot of credit, but many aspects of the modern offense came from his philosophy. It might not be straight up air raid, but most schools are using a lot of at least a variation of his stuff. Mumme is already considered one of the most influential figures in football.
