I don't think it's one game....but losing at home to Vandy and USC. Now home to Mizzou.....fans can feel is sliding back and it's hard to see great hope in this and next year.I noticed a lot of booing from the home crowd. Has Stoops reached his ceiling? Is the crowd done with him? Do you think attendance will suffer from here on out?
You do realize he has a CCC contract now. He's in this for the long haul.Yep. Time for a change. If you are going to be mediocre at least make it fun to watch
I didn't know that. I know he's over paid but didn't know he had a long term contract. Ugh!You do realize he has a CCC contract now. He's in this for the long haul.
Top 10 "paid " coach...top 50 results. Fixed it for you.Top 10 coach with top 40 results.
Just last year. Caused a big beef with the basketball folks.I didn't know that. I know he's over paid but didn't know he had a long term contract. Ugh!
Don't do that to yourself. I have finally given in and given up on beating UT after 50+ years of getting my hopes up only to be crushed....The season is over for all intents and purposes, but I’m sure my dumbass will be back planning my Saturday around it again for the UT game, convincing myself we can beat UT.
No, but they're angry.I noticed a lot of booing from the home crowd. Has Stoops reached his ceiling? Is the crowd done with him? Do you think attendance will suffer from here on out?
False, Carolina and Miss St are both beatable. As is the commuter school.Only way we make a bowl game is IF we beat Louisville....and that's not even a given right now.
No one on our schedule is a given. The 5-0 was fools gold fueled by one over achievement game and 4 cupcakes. The absolute best case scenario is 7-5 and this team could easily lose outOnly way we make a bowl game is IF we beat Louisville....and that's not even a given right now.
Their buyouts are similar but I think Stoops is actually more. I think Stoops buyout is something like 51 million and some change. I think Cal's is around 39 million. Not 100% sure on the numbers this but that's closeHell, we gave Calipari a lifetime contract for mediocrity, might as well gives Stoops one...
I dont have as much problem with Stoops as I do his position coaches. Big changes must be coming.Top 10 "paid " coach...top 50 results. Fixed it for you.
But for Ray Davis, there really isn't anyone I root for.For a long time, I have been all-in for Stoops. I like a lot of things about him, but I want him to know a few things (which typing it here wont make true, but, you know, its what I've got.)
I don't know these players, so I don't know what kind of guys they are, but; they wear the uniform of my university, which means they represent me. When I watch them play, I see undisciplined thugs who are much more interested in running their mouths than playing sound football.
This team is hard to like because they don't look likeable people. Why is this the case, coach? I mean it, why does the team wearing blue remind me of teams that wore red in years past in the way they behave.
Unfortunately, losing isn't new here. Not fielding a team that I respect is different and unsustainable.
I think you'll see a lot of orange in KCWS on the 28th. I know I won't be there, but my tickets won't go to any filthy orange. Have them sold already. No, but they're angry.
Any idea what the turning point was? Looked promising for awhile but we’ve seriously regressed and I don’t see any fire in CMS.I don't think it's one game....but losing at home to Vandy and USC. Now home to Mizzou.....fans can feel is sliding back and it's hard to see great hope in this and next year.
Outside of hoping Bolley/Saunders will be amazing very early.....what else is there to feel good about program direction?
Its the wild day and age of basically pay for play. Stoops shouldnt have said what he said but he aint wrong. He’ll learn, but being an HC in this wild wild west of a sport is 10 times tougher now. Stoops will adapt, will UK supporters?I lost airspeed and altitude with Cal a few years ago, and I think I am there with Stoops too. I am weary of coaches drawing pinnacle paychecks and underperforming.
Mizzou's coach just stomped a mud-hole in our team at home and walked it dry. His team was cool under pressure, smart, disciplined, and had an outstanding gameplay. We're nothing more than wannabe tough guys and trash talking bums and it is costing us a ton of yards and points and games in the W/L column.
I don't know how a team that has gone so rogue gets the trend reversed.
GBB and good night!
Fire him first.Bad hires, bad contracts. What's the common denominator?
