How about you only having 3 championships tied with Louisville and uconn by the way. While we have 8. Plus more final fours, wins, and players in the nba. You guys only have conference championships and get beat in the first weekend the majority of the time. If you want to argue stats, be my guest. That stellar class Kansas has coming in next year will even out nicely, especially since they have two 5 star bigs they will virtually be freshman again since they have not seen the court. Unless perry Ellis gets a 17th yr, it might not be a great year for Kansas

First point is valid, but whenever you guys use your conference as support I have to laugh. Year in and year out, it's wildly overrated, which is borne out by the utter lack of any success by schools other than Kansas. Have fun hanging another conference banner. Might as well go ahead and clear space for another 20, because I don't see any of the other teams doing anything but choking away their chances like they do every single year.

So, how about this:?
Bill Self - has been at Kansas since fall of 2003. Has 2 final fours in that time; 1 title. Very nice. 12 consecutive Big 12 championships? Stellar. Big 12 is a major conference, why - they've had (since the year Self started at KU) 3 teams in the Final four (KU twice, in 2008 and 2012; and OK St once in 2004)- that's utterly amazing.
Cal at Kentucky since 2010: 4 final fours, 1 title just since he's been at Kentucky. Guess that's not quite as good. Ok - compare the SEC since 2004 (Self's first post season at KU, just to keep the time frames matched up) - 7 teams in the final four, 3 titles. You're right, the Big 12 is much better.
Ok - let's go this way:
Head to head - Kentucky 22 wins, Kansas 7 - guess there's not much difference there.
Overall wins? Kentucky - 2197; Kansas 2169; that's so close it's a toss up
Titles - Kentucky -8; Kansas - 3 - again, nothing really to show there's much difference
So - yeah, you're right, being in, and winning, the Big 12 has yielded much better results.

Didn't matter that any Joe Schmoe nobody could see that and comment on it for DAYS afterwards...according to you it's fair and KU should be being called 3x more for fouls and shooting 4 1/2 x fewer time because that's how physical or cheating they are, right? C'mon!!!
Heck, this KU fan knows that we were fortunate at home and that at the very least there was at least maybe 4-5 fouls called on Lee & Skal that should've been no-calls. Having said that, I also thought that when fouls were 10-4 in UK's favor to start that game that the officiating wasn't exactly being called the same at both ends either.
KU was a more aggressive and physical team in the 2nd OU game... obviously they should have more fouls called on them. OU basically slept walked the first half ... then the last several minutes, here comes KU ramping up their fouling to 800% like Self does during the end of games when the game is on the line... So many no calls against KU that OU has a major gripe. They got robbed out of 2 wins against KU.
It's like I say all the time, every fan base has idiots within. Logic says, the more fans you have in the fan base, the more idiots you will have as well.
17 FT's to 0 in the last ten minutes of regulation seems to be the absolute best KU can manage. Either points or free throws..... its impossible to do better.

I'm having a hard time understanding how this is true when we just beat you? Self and Cal are 1-1 in national championships. I think you're giving way too much credit to the beatdown last year and the historical record vs. Kansas. Neither of those things matter in the dance this year, the only thing that matters is who is the better team and I have zero doubt the answer to that question is Kansas. Does that mean UK can't win? Hell no, worse teams beat us in the tournament all the time. What's the difference between a UK and a Stanford? Hoping to avoid teams in the tourney is a dumb way to watch. If they're good enough to win most times they do. If not, well that sucks it happens to every team but one every year.
