Diallo debuts for Kansas

Agree whole heartedly. There is no elite team this year. Should be a fun tournament with how wide open it will be. I'm sure you guys can go ahead and book a meeting with UCONN on the Final Four now.

Anyone who points to the Harrisons stock dropping as some type of proof of Cal's failure clearly only watched their pre-college stock. The Harrisons, while very good players, were not excellent at any one thing. In the league, you have to either be great at something or be a freak athletically. They were neither.

As fans, we owe them our gratitude. They maxed their potential while at Kentucky, and led our program to multiple Final Fours. But from an NBA draft-stock level, those who bring them up as some kind of indictment against either them or Calipari have clearly not been paying attention. When one considers their limitations, it's actually quite amazing that Andrew was drafted or that Aaron managed to squeeze a multi-year, six figure deal. They burnt about as brightly as they could have while at Kentucky. I'm not sure how one could argue the opposite, unless they're being intentionally biased.

The Harrison's would both still be in college if they played for Kansas.

This is a losing argument for Kansas fans, but don't expect them to realize it.

In the end, Kansas fans just want to bicker with UK fans and pretend they're somehow our equal.

Not close and never will be. UK is elite Kansas is borderline 2nd tier.

I believe you're the Kansas poster who's a fan of slipknot? If so, this is the best Kansas poster on the board. Kiimo and all of his little minions are garbage and need to be booted. This guy is legitimately ok.

Sheesh... Pissing matches between UK fans and KU fans. The few KU fans that post here actually seem like good guys and decent posters, even if I disagree with some of the things they say. I don't mind them saying what they think, since it comes out respectful. I just think they could benefit from straight-up ignoring the UK posters that attack them (there's a handy ignore feature I recommend), because that only causes more negative posts and arguments and such.

I guess that's just in anticipation of the big game in January, though. Going to be a tough one in the Phog.

***Most of the arguments I saw before your post were between UK fans & a Louisville fan.

Question: What are Kentucky fan's thoughts on the Kansas game. Kansas has more experience, but really only one potential one and done. Kentucky has less experience, but more potential one and done players and more players with the potential to play in the NBA.

Given what I gather is the common argument here that reloading every year is a better blueprint for winning national titles would a Kansas win disprove this argument?

He's a good player, but it's going to take him a while like skal. Good luck gettingason or Ellis to pass the ball. What the hell has Bragg done? Now that diallo is there his minutes will decline. If diallo is lucky Ellis may take a leave of absence by the time we play them so he can see his grandson being born. Kansas will come out all pumped up probably score 10 unanswered give each other a reach around saying job well done then go cold. Ky will just have to win the second for mins if they don't win the first. I think we will be fine

If you think that Bragg hasn't done anything and Ellis is a ball hog you haven't watched Kansas this year. Bragg probably won't be one and done but that guy is going to be great and has fantastic instincts for a freshman. Ellis' problem is the exact opposite of being a ball hog, he needs to be consistently assertive and not disappear against big front lines.

A Kansas win at Kansas won't prove anything. Did the beat down last year prove that the way Self does things isn't working?

I hate to say this but I agree with you....one Kansas victory this season and one UK victory last season proves very little except who was the better team that night. Are you on some type of medication that is helping your form lucid, intelligent, well thought-out posts?

I'll give you that kimo. I only watch kansas for two reasons 1. To lose. 2. Hoping selfs toupee flys off. All I'm saying is with the size and ranking he could contribute a little more than he has.

Well I hear you but unfortunately it's hair plugs so you'll be hoping forever. When his mummified remains are exhumed in 2000 years those babies will be intact.

Bragg has played great but his lapses in defense are what have kept him on the bench and having Lucas start. Thankfully Lucas is injured, forcing Bill's hand.
