the desperate need to be seen as our equal. ku fans are really transparent. they want to be us. so they are constantly over here trying to sell what they are and where they are at.

not worried about the game at all. if we win great, if we lose...whatever. last years team would be different since it was going for history. this years team...its like every other year. its about march. ku fans need this game though....bad

Wow, people are downplaying the significance and impact of Diallo. I thought he was the best player in this class, he did not dissapoint tonight. This clearly puts KU in top 3 if not top 2....Diallo has an endless motor and is an althetic marvel. This will be Self's best team since he won the title, you watch!
Looks like he looked pretty solid. 13pts, 6rbs, and 3blocks in 16mins. Of course he also had 4 fouls, which may have prevented more run.

Those points were from run out dunks. This kid will not help them that much on the offensive end. He will help them with defense and rebounding but old toupee head will have him riding the pine when they are playing better competition.
We have seen Dakari Johnson steal the ball and take it about 3/4 of the way for a dunk and he is extremely lacking in athleticism. Didn't look much different than the dunk in question except for the hand behind the head which wasn't very impressive in the grand scheme of great dunks in my opinion.
Now the dunk the Texas kid had was sick. He looked about the size of Dominique Hawkins and dunked all over the big man from the other team.

Actually I said the obvious. you see any way we win those games shooting 20% from 3, 60% from the stripe and Skal disappearing? We have to improve those areas a lot. massively improve our shooting and post play and then everything changes.

I sure do hope you as RC_Texas are not going the route as Kimohawk.....you will sure go down in my estimation if that is the case. jmuo
I imagine we will see the best of Diallo and the rest of them when we play, with that beating we put on them last season imagine they have us circled on the schedule. These kids ours or anyones that are fresh out of HS ball....well the expectations are a little to much, I know they play AAU and all that but they have to have some adjustment time to College and bright lights.

Agreed Bev. No question it will be a tough game, but win or lose it will serve as a great experience for our young Cats.
Don't get me wrong. I like you. It's just easy to pick on a rival fan because they visit this site daily (plus your whole Skal take). I have visited KU forums before and I can completely understand why you don't post there. It's clear this is the best college basketball forum period, and it's cool to have fans from other schools to confirm it.
