Diallo debuts for Kansas

I know this kid is probably a bit behind. Just dont think he will ever be that much of a factor offensively. He will help them with defense and rebounding.

Is the sky falling in Lawrence like it was in Lexington last night?

One poster said there is no way we can hang with Kansas (Wildcat in St. Louis or whatever his screename is).

Greyhounds tied it up at 34-34 before halftime. First TV timeout of 2nd half KU 51-36. Jet lag from Maui.

Ditto. He's going to help them out a lot defensively and rebounding but he's simply not a guy you can throw the ball into the post and get points.

When they are clicking, Kansas is a really good offensive team. Lot of good shooters.

They laid a beat down on UCLA in Maui, should be a pretty good opportunity to compare the teams.

Spanked? Lose maybe but spanke, hail nah..those guys don't got the stones

A lot of these KU guys are the same ones we humiliated early in the season last year.

Add in the revenge factor, home court advantage, youth of our team compared to theirs, and yeah - the potential is there for a beat down. It will definitely be a gut check for our guys.

Fans just need to not panic if it happens. The same UConn team that beat us in the Final Four in 2011 was blown out by 30+ by UL just before the tournament.

Doesn't take much to shake your confidence in a game two months away. Weak.

Cheick look good. He will have the Number One play on Sports Center tonight with his steal, 3/4 Court dribble and dunk with style points.

I said we have no shot at beating KU or MSU in the tournament with our bad shooting and weak post play. And Kansas just won 94 to 61.
Happen to check out KU's free throw numbers? 12-26

They should beat Loyola by 30.

With Ulis last night we would have beaten a MUCH better Illinois State team by 20-25.

Who has beat down Cal since he has been here? Uf beat us didn't beat us down don't see Ku doing it,no where are they noticeably better and don't play that type of d

13 offensive points, 6 rebounds and I believe 3 blocks (I counted 4) all his points in the second half. Self brought him off the bench so that he could get recognized by the crowd.

Bunch of chicken liyyles. We ain't getting spanked at my no matter what. If Ulis is 100% healthy, we can win.

ku is good ain't hating. But they aren't lasts yrs Cats :)

Bilas is funny. Paige score d his first bucket and Bilas said Walton would've called him player of the game.....and used superlative s for 5 straight mins on his sack.

January 30 is a long way away. The Cats will be ready when they step into the Phog.

Diallo looked pretty good to me. Especially for his first game.

Makes KU a top 3-4 team easily. KU is really good, shooting 45% from three for the year.

The game at KU will be crazy difficult to win.

6'9" and running the court, finished with a dunk looked shaky, right. Check out it on ESPN Sports Center Top Ten. Come back and tell me 'shaky' again.

No Loyola is not going to the tournament this year.
So what's your point then?

My point was some of our sky is falling fans are ridiculous (Wildcat in STL) in their reaction to a bad half. They also aren't capable of looking at previous year's stats through the same amount of games apparently.

he is 6'8", it was a straight line drive with no defenders. its what every player on all D1 teams can do. but he was slapping at the ball as he goes down the court, standing straight up, dribbling high and away from his body. like i said...shaky. good for him for making the play...but it wasnt that smooth
