If I told you that Rick would be fired in 2017 for hiring prostitues on the day he came back to Rupp, what would you say to me?

I remember that day well. Would have been shocked the most by the fact that Rick stayed at UL for as long as he did.

Went with my dad to the game and sat front row across the court. Was a great atmosphere. I hated him already at that point but not sure I could have ever imagined the fall he has faced.

I would not have been the least bit surprised. Anybody in Pitino's circumstances who would have taken the Louisville job after leaving the Celtics would do ANYTHING !

At UK... there is no shortage of women who'd throw themselves at UK players just to have that experience.... and lets just say Rick maximized that aspect....

Just stuff I heard back in 96 and 97. Could be wrong but i knew a few kids who went to UK back then.

Of course nothing like prostitution... I am floored he had to even turn to that. But I'd also just be shocked he was willing to pay players.. Its amazing what Cal did to him psychologically...
