I’m impatiently awaiting the news that Mark Stoops is entering the transfer portal.
After this season, no surprise. Really hate to see him go, no doubt more will enter. Let's just hope it's not up the road!
Imagine South Carolina will be a heavy player before Louisville.
I'm sure this isn't about NIL it's about NFL. He wants to improve his draft status as much as he can. Probably land at a place like Ole MIss that has higher quality offensive personnel and coaching.
He will land at some other SEC school and absolutely cook next year. Meanwhile, our recruiting hound, Vince Marrow, will soon tweet out that we should just “trust that we have big things coming” shortly before a surprise flip of some dude that barely cracks a 3-star rating and had offers from Bowling Green and Toledo.
Makes sense to me. He had a good year in our mundane offense. He will do well wherever he goes.
Unfortunately I get it. We have failed to put a competent passing game together. He’s going to go somewhere get paid and boost his draft stock.
He is one UGA has some interest in and supposedly his GF plays softball for UGA. So likely coming down to money or GF.

We’re lucky we got 3 years out of him, TBH. And, that’s likely only bc he’s a local. I’m always amazed when decent WRs pick UK & especially when they stay multiple years. The passing game under Stoops is always trash & we don’t produce NFL WRs. We’ve had a total of two WRs drafted since Stoops took over 12 seasons ago & one of them (Bowden) isn’t even a true WR.

He is a good player, but we UGA has to find a QB. I Think the plan is a portal guy if they can find one. He is a good player and if he joins it will improve UGA's roster. Kirby's big question is can he block?
Yeah he was going there then UK convinced him late to stay home and the offense would get better. After watching the first Coen season just occur he bought in. Then it went right back to what it used to be for his whole career.
I don’t know about South Carolina. Their quarterback doesn’t seem to be that great a passer.

I always laugh when athletes do that. I think I'd have more respect if Key just said "I'm leaving because I don't wanna be at UK anymore because Stoops sucks". At least it would be honest.
