He ought to win the Pulitzer, and the NCAA ought to be embarrassed for ignoring (so far) the overwhelming evidence of systemic cheating in the UNC basketball, football and other sports programs.

BTW, the part about his dislike for Paterno was a quote from his son after the scandal blew up. The implication of the quote (for right or wrong) was that Paterno somehow had something to do with the investigation going nowhere.

Someone (not you) in this thread doesn't understand the craziness of the UNC*** corruption. DA dropping charges for cooperation with non law enforcement investigation. Ten million dollars spent to cover up or minimize the situation. Former governor of North Carolina lies to cover it up. Whistleblower's life threatened. Whistleblower forced to resign. We could pretend that the last 8 losses at the hands of UNC*** by the UK basketball team aren't completely tainted by 20 years of cheating by UNC***. We could also pretend that that three of their five national championships aren't tainted as well.
