D-League

Good morning folks. Back to the upper teens in the east. But early reports on pitchers and catchers from Florida so spring can’t be far behind.

VH, Four Mile Creek which comes in off the River a couple miles west of the Grove and circles behind the town will be flooded at 53 feet, and the backwater will be up in the fields behind 3rd and 4th streets, but no water in basements yet.

Cats with a near-desperate situation tonight. I hope they play that way. Sick about these injuries which have jeopardized this really fun season.

Subway pulling into my station, under the arena where the Wizards and Capitals play. Have a great day.
The game maybe tomorrow night, I could be wrong, Mrs. M says I am most of the time! If I am ever right I get to mark it on the calendar!!!

Some people worried about not making NCAA tournament. 2 more wins gets us in imo. UK with 19 wins or better is in. Money drives the train and the UK brand along with how many UK fans travel every year makes this possible. If we could just get everyone healthy by the SEC tournament, this is possible. I believe tonight and one more win by the end of SEC tourney and were are in.

Edited: Game vs Vandy is tomorrow night.

Finishing up packing this morning and off to FL after lunch. We'll drive half way today.

We still don't have water here since yesterday morning....have power. If you see pics of a huge slip (mudslide) in the Fleming-Neon area that is in our county 20 minutes away. Edit: There is a pic of it in RR thread "Eastern KY Flooding". We're high enough that we don't worry about flooding, but we worry about slides.

I hope everyone has a great day and hope it's spring in KY by the time I get back.

Thank you Sir. Yeah, me too.... went to a cardiologist today myself. Caught a quick appointment. Have to schedule another nuclear stress test study whatever that is...told her let me look at my work schedule and call tomorrow. I didn't have my work phone with me at the time to check my calendar. We shall see....... at LEAST my BP was back to normal, had a serious episode a couple weeks ago but am told it was stress, but I do not stress. NEVER have had BP issues which is what alarmed me. Me just being angry with some work leadership... MTF on that one when I can. Thanks again...
Take it from an old man who has had open heart surgery; the nuclear stress test is easy, just time consuming. It is the best way to examine the conditions of your veins, even in your neck. Just take your phone and read. My last one was several hours long.

Md, they're now saying 55' tonight.

Walking the monster this morning with 14° temp and a wind chill factor of -16°. Wind was blowing it up. Also had a light mist of ice coming down which made the road slippery. While going out the back way to take the small streets we were going across the back neighbor's driveway when I slipped and went down. Luckily reflexes still good enough to get my hands down to break my fall and not break anything else. Hoping not to be seen, I scrambled up as quickly as I could and got on the grass. As I tried to continue going to the road, the monster got in front of me and stopped me looking up as if to ask if I was alright. She blocked my path twice as I tried to go on until I bent down to pet her and let her know I was alright. Once I did that, she turned around and started walking again.

Surprised me how she would not let me continue on until I petted her to let her know I was ok. Dogs are great.

Thank you Sir. I had one where they put some sort of IV in my arm back in 2019 and I hit the treadmill. The lady mentioned doing something like that again and some other sort of procedure. This is a new cardiologist that is a lot closer to my house. Figured I'd make my appointments better. My BP is around where it normally is now and that was a huge concern to me. I feel fine, (Now watch me drop over.) In any event, I am thankful. I told My Darling I want to live one day longer than her.

Been at it today and was off a half day for doctor things for My Darling. heading back to the Swamp tomorrow and Thursday if the Lord doesn't take me home. Thanks again and God Bless you all and your families... (I do not state that lightly.) I know I'd enjoy being around any and all of you.
