Was in the DC area at Ft. Belvoir for Passport Agent training and testing during Trumps first inauguration. Traffic was heavy all week. Had a coworker with me who would not drive the rental car we had because she was too scared. I had to do all of the driving. Pretty hectic, but after driving around Europe many years I had plenty experience with heavy traffic. Bought this hat at Dulles before going home. Never been worn.Good morning folks. Still bitter cold in the east. Looks like we could get some snow.
Austin, I’m glad your wife may be home soon.
Heading out for a 4-mile run. I’ll be glad to get it behind me.
My office is close to the inauguration route in DC, and I’ve been watching the preparations unfold —streets blocked off, portable grandstands, etc. We’re working from home for the entire week because of it.
I have been to a few, worked some in my journalism days. I think I’ll be content to watch highlights of this one on TV, though it should be an exciting day.
You all have a good one.
