Awesome W. Brea was unconscious beyond the arc.

Victory beer later tonight. Go Big Blue!
Pulled out the Glu Wein last night. Have 9 bottles left of the Nurnberger Markt. Supposed to get in the teens tomorrow night and for a few nights after. Will go to the Class VI sometime this upcoming week and get some more for the colder weather ahead.

Drank some last month in Bamberg at Christmas Markt. Always awesome. Enjoy!

Bengals hung on to win this evening. Now need Dolphins and Broncos to lose tomorrow to make the playoffs. I keep wondering about what could have been. As the announcers said during the game, 7 of the Bengals losses this year were a 1 score difference. Some by three points and another by 1 in over time.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 67°F, cloudy and windy. Temperatures falling throughout the day. Expect freezing temps early tomorrow morning.

So loved the W yesterday. Love our Cats.

Heading to grocery store later this morning. Landman and laundry afterwards. Make some oyster stew before this evening.

Wishing y'all a peaceful Sunday.

Morning Legionnaires!

32° this morning with 25mph winds gusting up to 35mph. This is as high as the temp will be today as it begins to fall during the day hitting the 20's by mid-day. Wind chill factor will be in the teens. Monster walk going to be cold, bundling up for sure.

1 undefeated team left in the nation. Tennessee will visit Florida on Tuesday and will probably go down if Florida plays like they did against us.

Will probably watch NFL Red Zone today since not much else going on.

You folks enjoy your day and God Bless.

Good morning everyone

Great game yesterday. This team is sure fun to watch when they're hitting their shots. Some of the play calls and execution at the end of the game was different than in years past.

I'm finally feeling better since getting sick right after Christmas. It's just in time to be able to get out and scrape our county roads when we get whatever we end up with. The forecast is tricky here in the mountains.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning folks. Great day to be a Cat fan. As I've mentioned before, my daughter is a Florida grad -- she also has a masters from Gonzaga and a PhD from Kansas though she only roots for Florida. Always good to skin the Gators.

Bengals still alive at least until the early games. Its freezing in the east. I went for a run in 17f that felt like 5...Have a great day folks.

Back from monster walk, was cold but I put on enough to just stave off the chill which for me is fine. The monster with all of her fur was just eating it up. Did not want the walk to end. She kept trying to persuade me into going further. Wind was blowing it up which is what really makes it cold. Give me 20° weather, no wind, and sunshine and I can stay out all day.

How many more free throws did they shoot than we did?

11

They were 22-35 from the line.

We were 18-24
The total number does not explain the bad calls. With 1:57 left in the game Florida got a foul shot. At that point Florida had taken 33 free throws to Kentucky's 16. During the last two minutes Florida was forced to foul and got the free throw numbers more reasonable.

Few teams get totally screwed at home the way Kentucky does.

Good morning all,

My two oldest graduated from UF. My oldest went on to become a CRNA. I doubt her allegiance to UF.

My son lives in Gainesville and attended UK for a semester or two but didn't graduate.

He graduated from UF. He attends UF/ Kentucky games flaunting Kentucky gear. I think I posted his picture at games a few times.

He is UK through and through....

He's lived in Florida since he came back from Iraq. He oozes Kentucky....

I am thankful.....

Cold here and have to go out on it in a bit.

Have a blessed Lord's Day.

We didn't go to church this morning. My Darling's cough wouldn't allow it...

The snow is really coming down. 4-5 inches so far with freezing rain and sleet to come later. That's what has me worried. They're estimating 1/2"-3/4" inch of ice and that's a very bad thing. As I posted in another thread my main concern is for my Dad. He lives in the back of an unincorporated neighborhood (no snow removal services) and also has a very steep driveway. I can shovel the snow off but ice is almost impossible and dangerous. We tried to get him to stay at my sister's (underground power lines) just in case there's an outage but he's stubborn. Temps are expected to get down to zero later this week so it's a real concern. We'll take care of him one way or the other. Fingers crossed.

Afternoon D, we have hardly any snow, but we have freezing rain coming down about all day, lucky so far still have power, just keeping our fingers crossed! In Owensboro, just 30 miles north of us where my sisters live, 15-19" is predicted! Crazy!!! Just checked, that's not right, was going by what the phone was saying. I don't have a smart phone apparently, I guess I have a not sure phone!

Ok, here's that recipe for the vegetable medley, cabbage, can use a head of cabbage or a bag of slaw mix, potato cubed, zucchini cubed, squash cubed, onions optional and bacon fried and crumbled up. Just fry it in a skillet, add vegetable oil or bacon grease and season it with your favorite seasons, we use Lawry's, just have to be careful, bacon is already salty. Enjoy! If anybody makes it let me know what you think! Just remember it's healthy, got veggies in it!

Good morning folks. About six inches of snow on the ground in the east with more to come.

Got up at 4:45 and dug out my wife’s car and shoveled the walk. Then I drove her down this treacherous hill on which we live, and about a mile to the main road that was plowed.

Then I hiked back. Was able to fall back asleep. I’m working from home. Just looked out the window. At least two more inches of snow since I shoveled. Hell with it for now.

Have a great day.
