You should be like joe bitem. You don't have to get your hands dirty because someone else has to wipe your butt.
I pity the poor Secret Service Agent who has to change Biden's diaper and wipe his butt. Then when he is cleaned up make sure he does not wander off into the wilderness mumbling Trump likes white people

Good morning! Woke up just in time to catch the beginning of the Jones show. Good or bad, that's where we are.

Looking forward to Saturday, even though I'm aware of what might happen, because I'm aware of what might happen. We beat them at the Swamp and now it's time to lay the smackdown on em at our house. Let's go Krogering! Krogering! Krogering!

I'm ready to see my basketball team in action. Not Madness, not Blue White. Action against another team.

I've been doing it for a while and have lost some weight. What you have to watch out for is overeating during your window. I haven't been too regimented about it and just sort of fell into the habit.

I was at 204 about 2 months ago and Friday I weighed 189.
I weighed 188/9 when we got married in 1970. Added about 1#/yr since.

Hey D-League
I'm on week 3 of this intermittent fasting plan. I "fast" for 18 hours, then eat a couple meals during a six hour window during the day, usually from 3pm to 9pm. We'll see how that goes for a few more weeks. Anyone with any experience, being successful with intermittent fasting, I'd love to hear the results.
I was 5" 9" and balloned up to around 225. I stopped the soda and switched to black coffee. Went to a dinner diet. Lost several lbs. a week which stopped around 175 lbs. That was some 20 years ago. Now I eat when I'm see food I want to eat and weight fluccuates based on chimichangas and Bass Ale intake between 175 - 180 lbs..

It all depends on the calorie intake. Count the calories taken in every 24 hours and eat less than you burn and you will lose weight. (Eat good food too.) Oh, I believe totally in fasting (I do drink water). If you want to really reset your clock fast for three days. (Keep drinking water) You can reset your immune system with a three day fast.
Fact.
Ironic that in one post I'm talking about fasting, then follow up with posts about cooking.
Eating is a blessing and we're generally not on the menu, so have no fear and eat everything wisely . . .
Works for me.

In 1970 I had my weight to around a 100 or so. I messed up and shot up to 224 about 3 years ago and I didn't like it all. Immediately went to 185 but I would have had to put in effort to maintain that weight. You can see my dilemma. I decided between 190 and 200 was the sweet spot. Easy for me to stay in that range.

I was a mediocre athlete, but one day I realized if I was in better shape, I could compete with more talented people. I always strived to be the best conditioned player in the game. I'm 5'9 and have weighed between 165 and 170 my entire adult life. Luckily food has never been a big deal. It's just something you need to survive. Probably over did it and wore out a few body parts, but it was fun while it lasted.

I am 5' 9" and weigh 225 right now. Probably could stand to lose a few pounds but, I eat.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 74°F and partly cloudy. Our high today may reach 94°F. Scattered thunderstorms predicted tomorrow through Saturday. Fingers crossed. We need rain.

Heard those six football players who got into trouble at a party earlier this year are now back practicing with the team. Great news.

Wishing happiness and health for all our fellow D-League members.

Just have to do it, something will always come up. I find the less people you tell about it the better. If asked, just change the subject. Someone always telling you a better way and offering you food. Just find a three day block and do it. If it bugs you the first time, are you a coffee drinker or tea drinker? Drink some BUT, without any other additives. No sugar for sure no sugar nor cream.

My darling always stops me. She watches intently what I eat or don't eat. Just a fight those days. I can do without eating and did a seven day fast a couple times. The key is drinking very regularly. Step out of the normal drinking routine. Drink at least a cup or so of water every half hour. (Just to fill you a little.)

(You all are probably the only people I have ever told about the seven day fasts. I had to deceive my wife during those times and it was not easy nor was it pleasing to me as there is very little I keep from my Darling.)(Get past three days and the rest is easier...)
I have never went seven days......I can do two maybe three.......I am 6'4" 210.........I don't have a lot to lose......The Director who is over weight tells me I am not eating right..............I spent 50 yrs living on schedules, making schedules, keeping schedules and catching hell for missed schedules...............I refuse to to anything on any kind of schedule.........including meals......I do get up at 4:30 AM three days a week to make coffee..........but that only last till January when the Director retires and then .........I am schedule free.....

I may give this some thought and look for a good window of time to carry out a three-day fast. I also believe that I can talk my wife into doing this with me. Pretty sure she'll go along with me on this.
The Director grew up on a farm.......never knew what being really hungry feels like..........she gets cranky as hell when she gets hungry.........my (sic) father was and carpenter who was great at all phases of the game.......when he was sober........he worked non union.......I know what it feels like to be hungry.......I can deal with it....

the freedom of living without a schedule would be nice. Something to look forward to

I have four more ducks to process today.......that will leave me with just four to pluck for the freezer......I have one hen sitting on the nest and one hen just started.............laying so........duck season isn't over just yet.........it is a job to wax them to get the down off....most of them I just skin.........I finished up the rabbits last week......just in time for breeding season to start..........my original goal was 150 rabbits for the year.........I might just make it......rabbit is the most healthy meat there is..... nothing but good cholesterol.......loaded with vitamin B's,............and it is all white meat.......I have decided that the racing homer pigeons are too small for eating........I ordered 8 pr of squabbing French Carneau pigeons......they should raise between 12-16 squabs per pair, per year........the awf's are going to be eating good......

@BBUK........I was thinking about your fast.......then I saw this picture and I actually came up with a "BETTER" idea...........

Good morning, D-League!

Sorry this is so late this morning. Another long day and no time to internet until a few minutes ago. Can't begin to tell you how hyped I am for the game this week. Wanted to get tickets, but they moved the game up to 6pm! Wth is that?!

We like the night games better. Hopefully it cools down quick before kickoff. Disappointed we won't be there for the upset of the Gators, but at least a packed house WILL enjoy it. (38-21 victory for the Cats, but don't share this with or tell anyone)

May see the Scintillating 6 return to action this week! In spite of all of the nipple-twisting and back-biting from the negative fans, the outcome I expected given the facts is mostly confirmed. Dck move by the PO to move this forward and attempt to smear these young men, as well as cost them valuable minutes toward furthering their playing careers.

"In other news," as my friend would say, the Babylon Bee is rocking some major hilarity on their site. Do a search for "fbi" stories on their page. The headlines alone are funny.

The next conservative president we (may never) have needs to either bar some (Democrat propaganda) papers and sites from press conferences, or start allowing tabloids and minor (actual) news websites EQUAL access. Either way it eliminates the plethora of DNC ask kissers, and may lead to the reporting of news rather than the selective reporting of whatever they can make up. (Journalism is almost dead).

Cool temps here. Lots of work outside this morning. Cutting trees and trimming limbs, digging a 4-14ft trench 36 inches deep (you know you're jealous), and cutting 2ft tall grass with a push mower (just kidding, it's 9-12 inches high and hopefully the big mower starts).

Then it's off to paint and prime and paint some more at one of our properties... NO Ocean's Eleven lifestyle for me (but I'm helping pay congress to live it, so there's that), and I've few regrets (none to do with not being a thief) living this life. Going to watch Florida vs Bama again this evening and see what tendencies and tells I can get from the broadcast.

Have a GREAT DAY that our Lord has MADE! Rejoice and be glad in it, even in the midst of our pain and trials, for the reward is great and His mercy overflowing to those who love Him!

" was a little to tall, could've used a few pounds... tight pants, points, hardly reknown... "

Lyrics pop into my head sometimes. Now this song probably won't leave my head unless I'm talking with a client or praying the rest of the day. That song will lead to remembering other songs, and some poor suckers will hear me singing them without realizing it later in the day.

Wonder why music from the last 10 years and then some never does that?

About the size of our (hopefully) soon to commit WR!

@Bert Higginbotha you got me to thinking about that Rueben. Let's do that again next time I drop down. I've got a meat slicer now and a great recipe for a tangy Russian dressing. I've tried the one at Arby's about 10 times but it's not the same as homemade.

Did you pop a top on that 46 yet?
I did drink some of the 46.

It is 58.6°F here and sunny. We are supposed to get to 85° today.

My good friend Jessie lost his daughter yesterday. She was 36 years old with a young boy. Things are going to be challenging this week for that family.

I’d have been in the John with you. I went to a handful of games at Riverfront in the 1970s. It seemed to always be freezing.

I can remember when I realized life as a Bengals fan was cursed. I happened to be in Miami when they played in the second of their two Super Bowls there.

I couldn’t get a ticket, but found a Bengals crowd in a bar not far from the stadium. The first blow - it’s announced that key running back Stanley Wilson isn’t playing. Only later did we learn he went out the night before the game and got so wasted on crack he couldn’t function. Then on an early set of downs - maybe the first - Tim Krumrie, the heart and soul of the defense, suffers a gruesome broken leg. Then usually reliable Lewis Billups drops an easy interception in the end zone - allowing a TD right after that. Despite all this, the Bengals manage to be ahead with a couple minutes to go and SF pinned inside their own ten yard line - just enough time for Montana to lead the 49ers down the field for a TD.

And that’s the high point of 50-plus years as a Bengals fan.

Was a Bengals fan that day. Very disappointing loss

Yeah - Big win for Cincy. Maybe….nah. Not going there.

By the way, my local game, the Ravens-Lions had one of the most bizarre finishes ever. With 4th and forever down two with about 20 seconds to go in the shadow of their own goal line, Lamar Jackson flung it about 50 yards for a completion. Then, after a spike, Justin Tucker kicks a Sixty Six yard FG - NFL record.

The odds of the Ravens winning that game when Jackson was scrambling around with five guys chasing him on fourth down ninety yards from a score and 15 seconds to go had to be significantly less than one percent.

THIS is why you don't ever give up.

After church today I had a nice meal with my cousin, his wife and my wife. He just returned from his 65th High School Reunion in Maryland. Forty five classmates attended the reunion.

Of course since he was in Maryland we started talking about Maryland crab cakes which are some of the best in the world. Apparently according to the discussion he had with the restaurant owner blue crabs are getting very expensive. A bushel costs about $350.00 and you have to pick them A lb of processed crab is $79.00. Crabs were so scarce they were shipping them up from Florida. The crabs he ate up there probably came only a few miles from where he lives.

We use to catch them using chicken necks and a string and could fill up a bushel in about a half hour. If you look around prices are going up by the day. I would say we are in inflation. I doubt things get any better for a long time

Don't see how it's possible to return to "normal" now. They totally screwed the pooch last election by letting the fraud happen. At least more people know how corrupt our gov is
