D-League

catfaninSC I guess we are the only ones on the board, but UK got screwed out of ever spot and I am going to find out what conference furnished these crooks. They sucked.
I don't know but I would almost bet they were Big Ten, they way they called all the unsportsmanlike penalties. I wonder if they were afraid of it turning out like the Miss. State game! They jobbed us on most all of the spots too!

I have to admit I quit watching with 5 minutes to in the first half, after watching a couple of the players were playing like, hey look at me!!!!

Started watching again after Cal got tossed.

I will say this, I druther have a you man wear the UK uniform because of love and pride for Kentucky, than one who just wears it and don't realize why he wears it!!!!

The Kentucky kid looked great!!!!

Cal should recruit an extra one or two Kentucky kids, if possible. They understand the meaning of Kentucky Basketball.

Good morning D-League. Slept well after an enjoyable day of sports watching, especially the Kentucky wins, but also thrilled to see the corrupt Kansas Jailhawks blown out at home, Tennessee beaten and then UNC-Cheats lose the Orange Bowl. Even Indiana’s overhyped football team lost to an SEC also ran.

I can’t remember a day of sports as fully satisfying in a long time.

We couldn't have drawn it up any better if we tried.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 45°F and clear. Expecting 71°F for our high today. Nice.

Lots of happier Wildcat fans today than last Friday. We saw a star born. Many rivals fell. Winning cures numerous ailments. Love it.

Wishing happiness and health for all our fellow D-League members.

I did not last out the Texas A&M game last night. I woke up at the end in the chair in the bedroom. I missed out of the best part of the game.

The ACC blew it, but that is often the case. They are always overrated in football. It is incredible how the record differences in the bowl games. UK 4-6, NC State 8-3. Texas A&M 8-1, NC 8-3. Ole Miss 4-5, Indiana 6-1. Then folks why was not Texas A&M considered in the playoff?

It is a damp 38.5°F. My rain gauge says .01". At 6:00 this morning it was 40°, so I assume we have seen our high already.

You guys and gal may know, but do any other basketball coaches in the SEC get kicked out of games other than Cal?

You all have a good Sunday.

Good morning D League.

Welcome to what many mental health care specialists consider the least happy day of the year - the Monday after New Year’s Day, when all the holiday joy back to Thanksgiving hits the brick wall of a cold work week in January.

But my family had a great round of holidays, so can’t complain. I hope the same for all you and that all is well.

I will tell you what to do with the least happiest day of the year! Punch it right in the face and drive on!

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites and Lurkers.
  • We've got 36º this morning, Just a tiny bit of wind. I couldn't stay out there too long.
  • If there are critters, it is still dark here.
  • I hope all of you are well and/are healing.
  • About another hour before light breaks.
  • The Cats got two good wins Saturday. I love wins.
  • The Football Cats' defense looked good most of the time. They could have done better without all of the fighting.
  • As you were. Take care.
  • Carry on.

Cool to know, my grandson LOVES spaghetti, he loves noodles. The boy brightens up when those are served. He is such a joy to be around.

Oh, a great morning to you all and I am hopeful for the day God has in store. May all your day be joyful and bountiful.

I am starting out in my new office which was at one time one of our spare bedrooms that converted into my eldest daughters and grand daughters room for a year and is now my office. It sure feels nice being back in the sunlight and in a clean room with a nice temperature, a new desk and quiet While I work.).

Less than two years for my twenty in this job. Can't retire until July of 2023 though due to my age.

NO RUSH AT ALL to get to that point.

When you look at this world as a whole, how can you comprehend less than an awesome God creating this unfathomable "natural" earth and all that it contains....

Much easier to conceive a loving God creating this wonder than to even imagine it all happened by....accident, by a Big Bang.... THAT is what would be hard to understand.... freak luck.... Nah, I will stick with the God that "brung" me...

Bless you all.... "How Great Thou Art"....

Part of the sermon yesterday was about GOD creating our universe opposed to the big bang theory!!! I have thought about it this way, take a watch apart, put it in a paper bag, put air in the bag, pop it with your hand and see how many times you have to do this to get the watch to back together!!!! Just my thought!!!!

That's good advice Warrior. The day got in the first shot -- a sucker punch behind my ear after sneaking up from behind. But I didn't go down, got my body turned and square to the target, and now I think it realizes it made a hell of a mistake.

Good morning D, 33 when I got up, now it's 25! When I was deer hunting, I use to get the coldest before the sun came up, don't hunt anymore, I can't even watch the get shot on tv!!! I think part of it and I know that it's just a movie, but the scene in Powder where the guy grabs the guys hand and the deer, just saying!!!

Not much going on, got one shield done yesterday, going to deliver it today, then foil and solder Uncle Ken's ornament, then may just cut out a few for stock! If I bore you guys with my glass work, let me know and I will just break it off!!!

Had a good few days with Mrs. M over the holiday, but she pays for it when she goes back to the bank after having those Friday's off and especially when it's the first of the month!!!!

Have a great day D, prayers always! Great weekend for the CATS!!!

Good morning all. Started a new advantage plan with Humana. I did have a supplemental policy, but I think I can save money with this plan. I get my prescriptions paid for, plus, I get $45 per quarter in OTC medications. I called to see how to order the OTC's and they asked me for the name of the drug. When I gave it to them, they said, oh no, not the name, but the catalogue number for it. I told them that I didn't have one, and they said it was in the OTC catalogue. I asked them that if they required the number, wouldn't it be just a smurfy idea to send one with my enrollment material. they didn't have an answer, but will send me one. Gee, what a great idea.

What's shakin' D people?!
So do we think the Cats got it turned around or will we just be let down in a week? Somebody needs to pull their head outta their ass and right this thing. Looking at you Coach...with a glance at a few players.
Surely they can beat Vanderbilt....right? RIGHT!
Had spaghetti last night...which means I'm eating leftover spaghetti for lunch.
Going to be a rough few weeks ahead...we're getting Dad set up with hospice. Hopefully he can make it until Moms birthday this Saturday. He had a heart attack and stroke about 20 years ago, it's finally caught up with him.
Glad to see the football Cats pulled out a W...and the Hoosiers lose. Always a good day.
I'm still checkin in occasionally.
Be well

Thoughts and prayers for your father EvilleCat.

Praying for your Dad, and your family. Glad you got to spend one more holiday together. Fixed baked spaghetti for the grandkids for lunch.
