Refered to as the 4th State of Matter. Because this is the D here's what's important. I don't remember being there but I believe that it was the 1st state before things started cooling creating gases, liquids, and solids during creation. It was also a hot energy sucking appliance that was the state of the art video panel a dozen years ago. Mine just wore out so I replaced it with an OLED.

Blows the Plasma away, cheaper to power, image off the charts. The economy of scale bringing new korean factories online has dropped display prices and continues to plunge.

That plasma tv heats my house. That thing cost me as much as an OLED at the time.

In all probability Don picked up this little 47,000 SF, $50 million dollar bungalow at a reduced price. A nice piece of property in little ole' Cumming, Georgia. He has enough room to host a D-League BBQ and since it has an 18 hole golf course he can host the Wildcat Don Invitational"

Good Tuesday morning D-League

Expecting a nice day around here with a current temperature of 67° and a high of 84° this afternoon. We have a "cold" front on the way that should make for a pleasant weekend. The last couple of days have brought some high humidity so when you step outside it is like a steam bath. Before air conditioning this would drive all of the Yankees back to New York or New England. Now I like that but most people don't. The cool front will take care of the humidity..

I have hope eternal for our football team and this Saturday we will find out what they are made of. Missouri is a winnable game so the Cats need to go out and win it. Missouri is not bowl eligible this season so they have nothing to play for post season. We do.

Coffee was good this morning and I just realized this is garbage day. Need to get the big bucket out there while I am thinking of it..

54.0°F and sunny. We got .09" of drizzle yesterday for my new grass seeds. I was praying for more.

I spent 2 1/2 hours at the hospital getting their check up. I see my cardiologist Wednesday and Friday for stress test and all before hip replacement next Monday. The prep is worse than the actual operation.

Today is grilling day. I am doing my grilling needs for the week after surgery while I can get around without a walker. I will put the meat in a food saver bag and freeze it. I look forward to the spells the grill will put off this afternoon.

Good evening D-enizens! Had me a day today. Good friend asked me to go with him to the hospital today for his cat scans. I'm going to forgo the obvious joke there. His wife had to work and he doesn't like to do stuff like that on his own. He rarely even drives to Louisville by himself. We've been friends for over 35 years and I'd walk through fire for him if he asked me to.

We had lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse. We both had the 1/3rd pound mushroom swiss burger but I didn't have the bun. Did get an extra order of sauteed mushrooms though. Delicious!

Came back to my house and had a few beers and did some finish up work on the bar. Put in the other magnetic latch and glued on the handles for the doors. I put a good coat of spar urathane on the doors and they look better than I deserve.

Good morning D League

Well we have a cool morning today and I am enjoying my coffee outside watching the sun come up. The man on the radio said this is a one day "cold front" We are at 59 degrees and it may or may not reach 80. Very low humidity. So I am going to work outside for a few hours this morning and tune up my sprinkler system. I have 36 sprinkler heads scattered around the yard and 9 zones. I should get them all checked out before noon.

I think our game against Missouri is a make or break game for the season. Win this one and we can salvage the season. Lose it and we are looking at a break even year or less. I will be very disappointed if after 10 wins and a solid win against Penn State in the Citrus Bowl, we slide back to the bottom of the SEC. If we win out we can keep; that from happening. The character of our team will be exposed the next month. Go Cats
