I like this Smith kid. Every pass he throws is a touchdown.
We have over 400 yards of offense with a 21 point lead
Tennessee goes down in OT to BYU
I wish we could put this team away. Passing defense should learn something from the film this week
Not happy about that touchdown. Shouldn't have happened. Foot was in though.
Getting nervous EMU has momentum
Defense needs to step it up this series.
Smith seems to be pure pocket and no scramble. Also, not in sync with the receivers.
So, Smith was the back up at Troy until their quarterback went down. Does not instill confidence.
Defense has to step up. Big time
UK takes over on downs. Now drive it down for a score to put this one away

We go to 2-0 and the film will give us plenty of information to improve on. Next Saturday is the day. I am praying Terry only has a minor injury but it did look bad. I got up to find out about TW's injury, but I did not. MRI tomorrow. Prayers for TW to only have a sprain and not something serious. I'm going to bed.
Stoops said on postgame that it was a "significant injury". Also audio has him telling EMU coach he was sorry for throwing so much at the end of the game but he needed to get the backup some reps because Wilson would be out the rest of the year.

So sorry to hear that. We know injuries are part of the game and it can happen anytime but when it is a key player like Terry it is even a bigger blow. If there is a positive in this our back up has some experience. Prayers for Terry Wilson.

The local weather report shows a current temperature of 71 degrees with a high of 89. We will have lots of sun.and clear skies. The sun rose at 7:11. The days are getting shorter.
Thinking and praying this morning for Rail Road_Cat who is fighting double pneumonia.
It was a good win last night but a downer with the loss of Terry. I pray the MRI today shows something positive. I want him back on the field. Trust all have a good Sunday, the day of Rest. After church we will gather on the Gulf of Mexico and have an old fashioned "wiener roast" with church fellowship then have a baptism service. We do it a couple of times a year.

Man, first RR now Terry. I hope the offensive line shores it up for Smith like they did Terry. He will need to gain confidence early against Florida. Florida is down and this year was a good chance to win 2 in a row. Still possible but, Terry gave us the best chance. I see a lot of running with just a few throws to Bowden
and Flagner. We need a lot more of this:

I'm hoping that the MRI gives us something postive on Terry today. Now if Smith is going to be the starter for the forseeable future, expect him to get better. Having to replace the starter after an injury, and working with the first team is going to be a little rough. While Smith isn't going to be Wilson, he does have starting experience and chose to be here. I couldn't imagine the QB situation right now had he not come here.

You could see on Stoops face on the sideline that he knew it wasn't good. He had that lost puppy look like Bush Jr. on 9/11.
I'm no doctor but I play one on the internet sometimes and I'm going with a torn meniscus. If so, then he will return this season after a minor surgery.
