Now I'm watching the "Last of the Mohicans". One of my all time favorite movies....and one of my ALL TIME Favorite Soundtracks. I love the music from that movie!
Look at them out there. Runnin' around like a bunch of wild inguns. Larry Verne.

Howdy D-League brutal heat here today. Took a walk at 6 pm and was swiftly drenched in sweat. It was 98 here at that hour.
Just finished a job I wasn’t looking forward to- moving a huge ancient, dead refrigerator out my basement and up a steep slope where the county junk haulers can get it. Damn thing had to weigh 250 pounds - maybe more.
Here’s a pro tip - get help.
But if you can’t get help do it alone rather than enlisting your wife to help guide the thing - unless maybe we’re talking Bev.
I took my time, removed all the doors on my furnace room and basement bed room ( it fit through the door frames by a half an inch. And without getting tools I didn’t have, or just hacksawing the damn thing, I couldn’t remove the fridge door) shoved all the furniture and book cases out of the way. I managed to get the think on a dolly, and wedged the thing around to slip through the inside door frames and to the sliding door going outside - and the thing was closed! My wife said she’d seen a fox in the afternoon and didn’t want to leave it open in case some critter ran in. Anyway, that aside, mission accomplished and my back will be fine by Wednesday.
Had a new frig brought in yesterday from Lowe's and paid $18.00 to have the other one taken away by them. MIL was here talking about us keeping it and selling it. I ask her if it did not sell would she help me take it away. She just looked at me as if I were crazy so, I said "It goes today". She smirked then turned away.Howdy D-League brutal heat here today. The paintings part of the Haul? This morning's haul. Yes, those are paintings and a reproduction print leaning against the fence in front of the truck.
Yes. Guy down the street gave them away. I've transitioned from salvaging and scavenging to fine art collector. The paintings part of the Haul?

I wish I'd had that option, Warrior. But we're re-doing the area in the basement and with the kids gone have no use for another fridge. Short of buying a new one, it was move it myself or pay a moving company.Had a new frig brought in yesterday from Lowe's and paid $18.00 to have the other one taken away by them. Nope, still have to work. Really want to retire but, the numbers still won't work. Turn 62 August 1st and could draw early SS but, daughter still in school (8th grade this year) will probably wait to see if she wants to go to college in 5 years.Morning D
Hope this Monday is a good one for you all
I have to work too and I turn 50 on August 2. So at least 15 more years for me, probably more. I have a 14 yr old starting high school this year. I’m not going to have much SS myself as I’ve spent most of my kids’ younger years at homeNope, still have to work. Really want to retire but, the numbers still won't work. Oh my Lord, what a horrible thing. Our society has way too many stories like this. Actually one is to many. Our forefathers had a way of handling matters like this. They would take action and if they had to go to court the defense of "he needed killing" was enough for the judge.Morning D
Waiting for my Mom to get here so we can go to church. Lord knows I need it today
I’m feeling so incredibly angry and sick right now
Three days ago, I found out some disturbing news...beyond disturbing
As you guys know we like to go off roading at DTOR. There was a young couple we befriended there. She has two children from a previous marriage. They got married at DTOR a little over a year ago. We really thought a lot of this couple.
Three days ago, the woman was looking at her husbands phone and found pictures and a couple of videos of this man molesting her daughter. She had him arrested immediately ...and a rape kit came back positive with his DNA.
This little girl is six years old.
If you guys would, please pray for this little girl and her momma; indeed for her whole family.

Really like that movie, plus The Fifth Element!!! I probably have seen it 10 times. Mrs M will walk by while I am watching it and just roll her eyes!I'm watching Cowboys and Aliens...I've seen it a couple of times but I still like watching it.
Did you see the video of this82?A bald eagle and a red fox fighting over a rabbit. IMO the eagle has the advantage.
