My wife was talking on Saturday about us going fishing sometime this summer. She said she didn't want to go when it was too hot and she didn't want to go to a place that had a lot of bugs. I stopped her and told her if she thought I was going fishing with her that she had lost her mind.

Actually, that is a UK fishing shirt with the flap in the back with mesh to let the air in and Duluth Flex Fire Hose cargo pants for freedom of movement.
Neither my wife or daughter goes with me (God send), they just enjoy the fresh fish.

Have 20 pairs of the Flex Fire Hose pants, then many shirts, socks, underwear, and a few pair of their shoes. Couple of hats also. That's basically all I wear these days other than UK gear. They are just comfortable clothes.

FCC here is a new name A female MD, DR Martin. I've had her visit at the hospital when my doctor was on vacation. She is very nice and a kind person.
OK I see what all the buzz is about this Jeopardy guy. He won 98 grand tonight (taped show actually). The 2nd place contestant finished at a distant 2,700. The guy is a sports gambler by trade. Bets big and his main goal is finding the double jeopardy.

I used to caddie when I was a kid, and Wed afternoon was when all the Doctors played. If you got sick on a Wed you had to go to the hospital to be seen by a doctor, unless you were caddying and could talk them into looking at you for free.
BTW, Doctors were terrible tippers.

This coming Friday after work, I'm flying out to Las Vegas. Attending a wedding the next day. The occasion marks my third visit to Vegas, first since 2002. Looking forward to some fun. Plan on touring Hoover Dam from the new bridge. Wife and I drove it back in '98. Also plan on hitting Grand Canyon West Rim.

Another pleasant day in store with very, very low humidity and a current temperature of 51°. Lots of sunshine all day with a high of 80. The girl on the radio said the best time to run today is between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. That will not be the case in July because with 95 degrees and 99% humidity the only people running in Florida are the high school football players. They pick the hottest hour of the day to work out down here. Drink plenty of Gatorade.
Time for another cup of coffee so we will see you on down the road. .

64.0°F and scattered clouds. I got the yard mowed and cleaned up yesterday and I allergies are running rampant even though I took the maximum of my medicines. Spring and fall is hard on me; however, Kentucky becomes the greenest place on earth by late April.

Gonna try to do some this evening also but gotta go to a meeting at 5:30, might still have some daylight left afterwards.
Heading to Nashville Friday for the weekend...mini vacation, then on vacation the rest of the week. Daughter is getting married the week after, gonna try to fit in some golf & honey-do's in between.

There was only one doctor who played at our country club. He only showed up rarely and only played nine holes. Everybody wanted to caddy for him because he paid the caddy two dollars for nine holes when the going rate was two dollars for 18 holes.
Went to bed about 10 pm. Woke up about 1 am and couldn't get back to sleep. Finally got back to sleep about 5 am and wife woke me up at 10 am. Feel awful. Glad I'm retired.
