I'm pulling for the Gators in this one. My cousin Mary graduated with a BSN from FL in 1971. She worked 40 years for Florida Hospital as an OR nurse.
I have a whole slew of cousins who are Gator grads and fans. They take it easy on me most of the time so since it is the NCAA I will pull for them to beat Michigan. I have no ties to Michigan at all.

Looks like Florida and Murray State have reached the end of their road. No surprise. I really didn't think either would win today.
Sometimes teams rally. If PJ doesn't make it back then others step-up. The talent and drive is there. Even without PJ this team can win.

Jeez Auburn. The most dominating half of the tournament so far. I'm not a big Bruce Pearl fan but he's got his guys primed tonight. He reminds me of the one obnoxious uncle that everybody has in their family.
KU just let them run up and down the floor and shoot. You can't beat auburn that way. You have to get dirty, down in the trenches and keep them from scoring. That is why we held them to 53 pts in Rupp.
Me too, but it is Uncle Sam that I will have to give a lot of money to. My CPA is not cheap, but the least of my worries.

The Cats' game is on again on CBSSports- their secondary cable channel.
I always see so much more watching after the pressure is off. The defense I thought was good was actually great, especially on Magee. As I posted early yesterday in Rupp Rafters it was very similar to the SECOND Wichita State game in 2017.
Obviously I hope PJ is back and hasn't missed a step - no pun intended. But this team isn't hopeless without him. Beat a good team yesterday.

A great defense can go along way in a tournament. Since the start of the season our defense improvement has been remarkable. Tyler Herro could have gone scoreless yesterday and still had a good game based on his defense. I look for the offense to start clicking, starting in the Sweet 16

I really enjoyed the games yesterday. The only real shocker was the ease that Auburn put away Kansas.

Rupp coached in an era where only one team per conference made the NCAA tournament. Also there were far fewer games in the tournament.
Congrats to Cal and I hope he wins 30 more starting with the next one. I enjoyed yesterday also Bert. I am glad we played early because once we won all I had to do was relax and enjoy the rest of the games.

Started Thursday night...finally quit last night. Slow and steady pace wins the race.
Got in 9 holes of golf, squeezed in some live music, hung out with friends, laughed a lot...good times.
After the game yesterday, the bartender asked why aren't you whoopin and hollerin over the win? I said we (UK fans) expect to win, nothing new. I'll start getting excited next week.

Everything worked out fine. I called and asked if there was any way they could delay the game until 3 pm so I could have my cake and eat it too.
I want to go to another wedding like that one again next week, or tomorrow. The amount of talent there was astounding. Actual wedding itself took about 10 minutes and I was able to set a new record on the game I play on my phone.
The game tipped off when we pulled into the parking lot of the bar. Errbody wearing UK gear and there I was in a suit and tie. Didn't slow me down though, beer went down easily.
After the game we headed over to the reception. It was a party! Most of the people there were spending the night at the motel next door so the liquor was flowing freely. My wife was going to drive us home so there was nothing slowing me down either. I did not dance.
I have a hangover.

I filled out a bracket at the golf course last Wednesday. I didn't get a copy of it and don't remember which teams I picked. I know I've got a final four of UK, Duke, Tenn, and another team. I've got UK beating Duke for 9.
