Well let me see....

Got my scheduled lined out for next week.(Basically on the road for the week, joy)

Called about selling some furniture.

Waited on Lowe's to deliver and install a dishwasher. Would have done it myself but Bosch had a deal where they paid for it.

Carry on D league peoples!

Good luck to ya buddy, but I gotta say, some of that stuff sounds like fun to me.

76,000? Wow it is not a tiny school at all. Fooled me

A lot of those are internet students.

I don't know one thing about Liberty but I think I will pull for them against Miss State. I usually pull for SEC schools but this year I think I will go in a different direction. Go Liberty who ever you are. Go
Liberty operates one of the largest online programs in the United States - 15,000 on campus and 95,000 online. LU also ranks among the least expensive universities for online undergrad and grad tuition. Active duty, reserve, vets and military retirees enrolled at LU online pay $250/$275 per undergrad/grad credit hour. LU endowment = $1.29 billion. With so many $, I envision the school making more noise in other D-1 sports.

Liberty wins

Happy for my friend. The nephew is from his wife's sister. His wife died late last year after a long bout with cancer. His brother hasn't left the house much since his wife passed and this was great opportunity for him to meet with the family. Glad it was a good outcome for them. All those people with similar stories that wanted Miss st to win? Suck it.

My wife and I were screaming for the Flames the last few minutes . Miss State is like so many other SEC schools in the tournament. And it cost them the game

I don't have a copy of the only bracket I filled out so I don't know exactly how I'm doing. What I do know is that these games today don't matter much because the people that hit these missed the ul game. We'll all be pretty close after the first weekend. Next weekend tells the tale.

7'6"

Odds are you've never been within a mile of a guy that tall in your life.
You would be wrong Ymmot. Being around the DC area, I met Manute Bol randomly in a shopping center parking lot a few miles from where the Wizards played in those days. I shook hands with him. I'm 6'5" with big hands but I felt tiny. The guys fingers were as long as bananas. Bol was listed at 7'7" in some bios. And Gheorge Muresan was involved as a coach in a youth AAU league in Maryland my son played in. I'm not sure why. I made a point of walking through the handshake line after the game to stand next to him. He's also listed at 7'7". Massive.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 63°F. We may hit mid-70s before receiving some beautiful rain.

Terriers vs Cats at 1:40 PM CDT today. It appears our Cats are favored. Looking forward to a good game. Wofford can shoot.

Chores are on my schedule between now and game-time. All sorts of stuff going on at the ATX house.

We'll check back later. Y'all behave.

Happy Saturday D League. Nervous but confident about the Cats. If I were not emotionally invested and looking at the game objectively, the match ups favor Kentucky without PJ. We've all seen these mid major kids just play way over their heads, and Wofford is a very good team. but Cal has a strong history of avoiding those kinds of ambushes.

When I was a boy there was a giant of a man who had a fish camp and a little trailer camper park on the river at Gibsonton, Florida. He married a midget. Of course they toured with the circus.

The year was about 1951 and we stopped in to do a little fishing and of course I had to go up to him and ask a few questions. That's what 8 year olds do. I ask him how did he get so tall. And his answer was a simple, mullet (a fish) and grits. With some tomato gravy on the side. Guess what I asked mama to make for supper. Here he is next to his sign

They make a handsome couple I would say.

Good morning D-League

Winter has returned with temperatures in the mid 40's over night and only a high of 80 this afternoon. But the games are played inside so no problem. We have another test today as we move forward. Like most years there is always some drama surrounding our team and this year it is PJ's i(Scooter Washington) injury. The Cats will have to get it done without him.

So let's get in a game day mood, win and advance.

It should be a bright sun shiny day

Met Louie Dampier, Artis Gilmore, and Dan Issle at a Mall in Louisville when I was a wee Lad. Imagine how big they looked to a kid.

Don't have to imagine. I've stood next to all 3 at Freedom Hall and it was pretty intimidating for a little kid. Sure wish we would have kept pro basketball in Louisville. We'd have it now if not for the dirty dealin shenanigans down on Floyd st.

If U6 had that kind of money, they could buy a bunch of players.

Before you get too worked up about Wooford, check out their performance against power 5 schools. That 3 pt % drops down to about 34% which is controllable. I think we'll cruise.

I think we win, too, but you have to consider that they were playing away, since no power 5 school would play @ Wofford. 34% on the road may equate to 40% on a neutral floor.

Agree. Their best player, who holds the 3pt record, would not start for UK. I think we win by 15.

Not taking an NBA team when they had the chance was one of the dumbest moves in Louisville history.

I still remember seeing Pitino in an interview saying that Louisville couldn't support an NBA team. We already proved we would support a pro team. The Pelicans should be in Louisville right now, but with a much better name.
