Thank you Don!

Hot water heater went out yesterday late afternoon. Wife and daughter off for spring break and the replacement coming in today at around 9:30am. Looks like a cold shower before work for me this morning. Those are usually the quickest.

Work has been rough past few weeks but, even rougher this week because 2 co-workers have been in San Antonio for training, another off on Wednesday and 2 more out today and we have have had extra work loads this past month with it continuing for a couple of more weeks. 2 people working today in a 6 person office with heavy customer traffic expected.

Calgon can't take me away until I get the water heater fixed. Oh yeah, on a brighter note outside of UK winning, going fishing for the first time this year on Sunday. Look out you Big Mouthed Leviathans!

Good morning from cool Florida. Currently 53° with a high forecast for 74° today. There is a big ole full moon shining bright and in about 45 minutes the sun will peak out. Very strong breeze yesterday and it is very breezy this morning. I have not run the AC for months, opening all of the windows again today.

The man on the radio said somebody stole $30,000 worth of cologne and tried to sell it in a strip mall. I guess they set up a table in the parking lot. Just kidding but who knows what the mind of a criminal will do.

One down 5 more to go. We just overpowered Abilene but Wofford might be a test. I guess PJ is still going to watch from the bench. I sure would like to see him on the court. If you think about it we sure do get a lot of injuries about this time of the year. It has cost us a few championships. 1997 and 2015 come to mind.

Everyone have a great day and enjoy the weather, it may not get better than what we have experienced the past few days. Go Cats

He looks like he is no stranger to them.
I remember the first time I saw Charles Barkley in Rupp. I watched the Auburn team warm up and saw this fat boy in the lay up line. I thought to myself who in the heck is this out of shape big boy. I found out about a minute in the game when he came running down the court and threw down a thunderous dunk. BAM welcome to Lexington Big Boy. I swear when they took him out for a breather he had a stash of Goo Goo Clusters under the bench and ate a couple then went back in the game. I am not sure if that is a fact but it makes a good story. The Round Man of Rebound.

Good morning! I'm up early today so I can get started and fully enjoy my day of doing whatever I want. I'll throw some dish washing in there somewhere but that's about ten minutes worth.

I will not be joining you for the game tomorrow. I will be attending a wedding for a couple of people I've never met in my life. Lucky for me though, the wedding is at 1430 so I don't see any reason why it won't be over by tipoff at 1440. :flushed::angry::weary::flush:

!'ll never forget Driving to Rupp for the first time. ! had a wreck were this teen ran into the back of my Monte-Carlo . The cop they sent said the teen was not at fault due to a bunch of his friends hanging around fast food place we had just excited and that I pulled into his path. That was bull [poop]! This teen was driving and old station wagon and was not it's first wreck. He hit me in my rear end side-ways. No damage to my car. Called Allstate from Rupp and wouldn't let myself be any more upset. Lost to Utah and declared I wouldn't go again to another game. If ya'll only knew .That sparked a fire.

Good morning D- League, there were some good games yesterday especially the loserville and Murray game!!!! I have been trying to remember, was it Barkley that got mad and hit Charles Hurt in the back of the head in a game with Auburn? Worried some about our game with Wofford, main reason is they are going to be the little darlings in the tournament and I think the refs will call every little touch foul on our bigs!!!! Travis was a bull last night! I imagine Nick will be sore today, that was a cheap shot!!!! I think everyone wants Nick to do good (I know I do) because you can see it with the guys on the bench and with Cal!!!! I think we have the framework for a really good team next year with the ones I think that comes back! Speaking of our kids birthdays my baby girl turned 38 in Jan. my youngest son turned 40 in Feb, and my oldest will be 44 in a few days!!! Where does time go!!!!! Ya'll have a great and safe day!!! GO CATS!!!!

Morning everyone
Not working today, meeting up with others around 11:30. Should make for a good day of laughs. Hoping for some buzzer beaters.
PJ not playing is a bummer, but the bigger concern against Wofford is the perimeter defense. I think EJ RT and Nick can hold their own against Wofford down low. It'll be interesting. Should still be able to beat'em....unless they're unconscious from 3. Only takes one game...

I overheard this at the bar last night:
Another guy talking to his buddy "Hey man, where's your gear?"
Buddy, "I ain't wearing no f-ing gear! My team didn't even make the tourney...I'm an IU fan."

After talking to some of ya'll about some of my finds, I am really getting antsy about getting back out and doing some more metal detecting. I have found a few Mercury dimes, which are beautiful silver coins, but finding old military items are my favorite finds! I keep a log of my everyday hunt, where I go and what I find, so I think I am going to try and hit a few of those first this year. Finding those things, I can't help but think where they came from, what part did the owners play in their military service! Just like thinking about the history of my finds!!!

This morning I was working in the back yard about 25 feet from the lake and suddenly a young bald eagle swooped down and caught a fish. The fish looked to be about 12 inches long. The eagle flew around for a moment or so and almost landed in the top of a very high pine tree. But he thought better I suppose and flew away with the fish This is a very rare sight for me but it is the second time I have witnessed an eagle taking a fish out of the lake.

Sure wish I could capture it on video some day. But you never know when it is going to happen and it happens so fast. Here is a picture of the lake where he caught it. The eagle caught the fish about 40 feet from the shore line. It was really fun to watch.

Happy Friday D-Leaguers. Halfway through this day, and some hoops action to sneak a look at this afternoon.

I probably watch three times as much basketball as anyone in my DC office, and yet I am next to last in the Brackets pool -- behind some people who I doubt watched five minutes of college hoops this year. That confirms my prejudice that actually knowing stuff in life is a marginal advantage at best.

I believe this too. When it comes to brackets knowledge may be a detriment but at best a marginal advantage. I hate that

Ya'll were talking about Charles Barkley, was he the one that got mad and hit Charles Hurt in the back of the head in one of the Auburn games one year?

He's the one. I'm not sure who would come out of that one. Charlie Hurt was built. If those two got into a fight in an alley, the alley would lose.

A man with a plan. A good one, enjoy.
It is a good plan SC, I have people just waiting for me to make the sauce. It's a sweet vinegar sauce. Butter, mustard, ketchup, white sugar, vinegar and a few other spices. It takes most of a day to make it, you have to cook it then let it cool down then cook it again for another hour or so then let it cool down before you put it in the jars. It's a chore but me and my wife enjoy doing it, gives us so time together! All the kids really enjoy us making it!!!!!
