Supper was crock pot all navy beans n ham..yep skillet cornbread and green onions

Hit the spot

Paver yob finally done..
son works at ford..thinkin new titanium escape for wife..still in ponder stage
sprinklers were winterized today...hate that cause it means winter is coming
tomorrow will clean shop, shut down outside fountain and prep things for winter

Bout all I got..Go Cats!

  • Good morning D-League on this Tuesday morning.
  • Current temp is 59 with a chill still in the air and a 3 mph breeze
  • I got out my winter clothes yesterday consisting of two sweaters and a golf jacket. They will come in handy when I go over to the beach.
  • Don't you love the celebration picture in the locker room. If the Cats beat Georgia I will pay for the damages to the ceiling tile.
  • Black coffee and a chill in the air = the Good Life. Time for my second cup in a little bit.
  • My dental exam went well. No issues so I will see them again in six months, Lord willing.
  • Today should be a day to do some more straightening around in he garage. I am one of those who likes to keep my vehicles in the garage and I may have to take a few things to the Salvation Army to give a little more room.
  • Make it a good day and we trust those who are not feeling as well as they should will get a little touch and be made whole.
  • See you on down the road Jack.

Man, two of my all time favorites. I've seen Alan Jackson probably 5 times. And the possum is just the best ever. He was good friends with Aunt Skeeter and i got to meet him a couple times. He was such a nice, humble guy.

Also, good morning Y'all. Hope Y'all have a great day!

Ready to head out the door for a Rupp adventure. I've got the dvr set and will probably watch the game as soon as we get home.

Dreary day today. At the Kroger I had picked up a few things that I wanted and then I thought, hey, I've got to go shopping with her tomorrow. So I put most if it back and will get it tomorrow when we'll be using the "our" money card and not the "my" money card. I'm very frugal.

We only have one card. There's a "her money" card, but no "our money" card. How do I get one of those?

With a big game coming up Saturday the place to be is in Kentucky. Can I borrow some bus fare?

My favorite Kentucky gal who was a huge UK fan. Rest in Peace Skeeter, we loved you.

We miss her so much, was such a kind, sweet lady. It's really weird how someone passes away, you miss them so much, it seems they been gone forever. And she really loved our daughters, just adored them. And they adored her. Thanks for posting

When our twins were tiny, She would get them to sing with her. Oh the memories....
Ace I didn't realize you knew Skeeter Davis. How great is that. I was a huge fan of hers and enjoyed every song and appearance she made on TV. She was fantastic and a true Kentuckian. But I admit I was not much of a fan of her husband Ralph Emery. I am not sure why but there was something about him that grated on me. I just didn't seem to trust him. But I don't know why, just a hunch and I was probably way off base.

Not off base at all. He was a no good POS and didn’t treat her well. I would have loved to smack the shit out of him. And you were right, Skeeter was a HUGE Kentucky fan. I remember one night we were at one of her shows at the Grand Old Opry and she started a GBB cheer! Right in the heart of Tennessee

Isn't it amazing how sometimes you just have that feeling. Thanks for confirming this to me. I had such high respect for Skeeter and often wondered what she saw in that guy. I hate that she was mistreated

Morning D
Not much and too much going on here
I need a vacation
Ready for the game Saturday? I’m already nervous
We need this win badly
Be good
... go into the game expecting that UK will be win by 50. Anything else is positive.

.....

really that is how it is best. Don't expect much. That is what I told Sherry when she married me. So she has not been disappointed too much. :scream:
