Man, my mind is in the gutter today. I read that and had to double take as I my reptilian white trash mind registered Porn Star. I thought self, "That doesn't sound like a D-league party." Must be the "Louievul" or "Fake News" effect.

Home from my adventure with Dad. I was successful in getting him off some of his meds. Was also happy to hear that the doctors at VA had taken him off something that I didn't think he needed. Doctor agreed with me at the time but I thought he was just blowing smoke. Squeaky wheel got the grease.
Today we took him off of his prostate medication. Completely useless to give a man Flomax when his kidneys no longer produce urine. Side effect of the prostate meds is decreased blood pressure. That's the exact problem he's been having at dialysis. Hopefully this will make a difference.
Got a text from my wife about an hour ago and as it turns out, we will be attending the basketball game Friday night. Always fun to go to Rupp and I expect to see a mighty display from the Cats as they prove themselves to be unstoppable juggernauts that cannot be stopped!

Pawn shops are good places to get ten cents on the dollar for your stuff.
I've picked up some good tools for cheap at the pawn shops. Paid $90 for a like new kitchenaid stand mixer too. No tax. I've never pawned anything.
The rule used to be 1/3 of what you think you can get for the item.
I bought QB's engagement ring at a pawnshop.

Good move. I got hers at a place where the guy dealt in estate jewelry as well as loose stones. If there is anything that can be construed as a "good deal" when buying a diamond ring, then I got a good deal. Monetarily speaking. I'm just joking. No I'm not.

I made some hot chocolate last night that was not only extra low in carbs, but was actually healthy for me. The hot chocolate and chili is going to get me through the winter.

That would work for me. I put dark chocolate in my chili to help mask the habaneros and jalapeños.
