D-League

We will be undefeated for the season.....oops, I meant before the season. Did not want to start one of those post.

I too, thoroughly enjoyed the Blue-White and not being suspicious, here we go.
  1. We will be undefeated until we lose.
  2. I do not believe there is a better collegiate team this year.
  3. I also believe they have the team to beat anyone they play, anytime, anywhere.
  4. I would like to believe they are unbeatable.
  5. I know better but this will be a blast.
  6. 40(46) - 0
Go Big Blue . . . Football 2

We're currently under water restrictions. Must boil before use.

No wonder my oatmeal tasted funny this morning.
About 8 or so years back we had a very bad ice storm/snow mix. Knocked out power for a few weeks here and froze all of my pipes. No water so, I melted the snow and ice to have water enough to get through it. Learned my lesson, started buying cases of bottled water so that I have a good supply just in case of that or one of those problems that happened in Flint Michigan or Virginia a few years back. Rotate the supply and use bottle water for most things involved in cooking, eating, and drinking.

Ace, I ordered it on line. The site had a lot of "roots" t shirts including one for Floridians who are UK fans. I have had it a few years but I would imagine it is still available. For those who may not have seen it here it what it looks like.

Thanks, I will begin my search....

What's up D? Back in refurbished offices in DC's Penn Quarter. From my office I can see the side of the Verizon Center where the Wizards' play, and a huge wall poster of John Wall - which is nice.

Every time I glance at the image I remember that break-away dunk in the UNC-Cheats game early in his UK year, when I turned to my then-9 year old son (now a UK freshman) and said, "get ready, we're about to have some fun with Kentucky basketball."

I go way back and remember a man named Lou Michaels. He is famous for breaking the back of the Majors boy was the top running back in college and an All American from Tennessee. Lou hit like a mule kicking through a wall. He was also consensus All American in 1956 and 1957, recognized as the best defensive lineman in college both years. He was the 4th pick in the First Round of the 1958 NFL draft.

After beating Tennessee he came up with the famous quote "Nothing Sucks Like A Big Orange". Rest in peace Big Lou you were one tough dude big guy. #79 for the Cats

Think how much Josh Allen could do if he wasn't blatantly held on every play.

Shot an 80 today. Had a triple bogey and no birdies. Didn't get started until almost 1100 due to frost on the course.

Short adventure with Dad tomorrow because he has two doctor appointments. Both are at the same place though.

Come on Friday. I'm ready to see us play another team again.

ymmot31 I just want to let you know how much I admire you for helping with your father and being there for him. My father had kidney failure which led to his death. I was the only person he wanted to be with him when he had to sit during dialysis and for many months I took him to the doctor, hospital and other treatment he had. He would call me at 3:00 in the morning in terrible pain and ask that I come over. I did it willingly and with love thinking of all of the times he took me to games and was there when I played sports. He didn't miss a one. So even though it was often hard on me and I had to go to work the next day, worn out it was worth every second. I would love to have him here today and just sit down and talk.

You are a good son and you will never regret a moment. The best to you ymmot31 and I have your father in my prayers.

That's a nice shirt Sawnee. I bought my son the one that has Maryland where Florida is on this one. He really liked it. Of course, now he's living in Lexington. I think he wears it sometimes on campus as a quick conversation starter.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 55°F and lovely light rain. We may break 60°F if lucky. Loving these cool temperatures. We're still under water restrictions and under a boil water notice.

Lotto fever. Another drawing tonight. Good luck.

I've got nothing else. Y'all behave.
That water restriction would be a pain. I suppose the stores are selling bottled water out the wazoo.

40.5°F. Yesterday we had a heavy frost and my garden showed its effects by afternoon. No more matters, peppers, beans or egg plant...................

  • Good morning D-League
  • It is a pleasant 63 degrees with a high today of 83.
  • The coffee smells good and taste even better. I am ready for another cup.
  • Good day for working outside, maybe even continue to rearrange the garage.
  • The caravan or invasion continues their march to crash our borders.
  • Stoops is working on the quarterback problem. Better get it fixed because we have some big games coming up.
  • I have the oak rails for my truck bed which will give it a retro 50's look. Getting ready to put them on
  • Make it a good Tuesday and for those who are not up to speed health wise, you are in our prayers.

Your truck is awesome.

Your truck is awesome.
Thanks Don, I can't wait to get it finished. I bought it new and it has been a very good truck. It is all I need at my stage in life and the reason I restored it rather than get a new one. I recently put in a new sound system which includes a back up camera to bring it up to date. This week we will also redo the interior.

It has been fun. I love messing with old trucks and cars. I guess that is from growing up in an age when automobiles were in their glory days. Today's generation would rather travel by Uber but I prefer getting behind the wheel of an Olds Rocket 88 and putting the petal to the floor.
