Watching Ohio State. Their defense sucks
Man, don't even get me started on the state of Ohio, Ohio State FB and BB, the Ohio Navy, etc. Those f*ckers up there consider KY like some sort of backwater civilization. The more they lose, the better I feel. It was Iowa last season. Purdue this season. Hell, yes!

I hope they fart and fall.

No love lost for Buckeyes down here. They are road hazards and screw up our beaches.

I lived for years in FL. Loved how Ohio peeps always said things were so much better up there.

My canned response: "Well, why they hell did you move down here?"
That is the thing that gets to me. I have always been a person that if I did not like somewhere I wouldn't go much less live there. I have a next door neighbor who is from New York and she constantly complains about living in Florida. Her husband is a doctor and they could move back or move anywhere but no they stay here and complain. The most miserable people I have known in my life. She stays inside most of the time and I only see her out every once in a while. And she never speaks, so that is good.

We have 23,000,000 people down here that we know of. Probably more. If someone does not like our heat, humidity, bugs, gators and swamps Greyhound and Delta are ready when you are. We could use some thinning out. Life is not always a beach.

A guy down the street from me owns a garage and does some work for me on our cars, he has a sign hanging on the wall that says " WE DON'T CARE HOW YOU DO IT UP NORTH " Sawnee and other Florida residents will understand this....lol

  • Good Sunday Morning, D-League
  • Currently 71º with a low last night of 57 and a high today of 79. 79!!! Clear skies and sunshine with no rain.
  • Well we are 6-1 with some huge games ahead. .
  • I am thankful for the win but would like a little better passing game to give us balance.
  • Getting ready for church in a few minutes and will make today a day of rest.
  • My wife and daughter are headed to Memphis today on a little daughter and mother "vacation". Both are Elvis fans and they want to take another trip to Graceland. As for me I have been to Memphis several times and can die in peace without seeing that Mississippi Bridge one more time in my life. I am staying in Florida. Memphis has nothing for me.
  • Tonight should be interesting as the Blue - White game is on the SEC Network. I am anxious to see how we look.
  • So stay well today, if you are ailing may God touch you and restore your health. See you down the road, Jack.
  • Here is another old post card from years ago. Stay off of that Chain Gang.

The regional crap pisses me off also.

I was raised in rural Kentucky and then lived in North Carolina, Florida (two different times), Indiana, Texas and Maryland. Every place I lived was enjoyable. Florida was friendly, hot and humid, Texas was friendly, hot and humid and dry (Texas has more stuff than other places!), Indiana was Kentucky north, I live in the mountains in NC and loved it but the mountain folks were hard to get to know; and lastly Maryland was a great place just expensive and its humidity was nearly as bad as Florida.

Texas was the place that, in my view, was the closest culture to Kentucky. Most of my Florida neighbors were not from Florida but from up North. The most parochial were the folks in Maryland. They thought the world revolved around Baltimore but were very nice people.

But when I retired my butt was back in Kentucky, so I could get reacquainted with my family before they died.

Bert, I used to have to go to Cumberland Maryland on occasion for training. It reminded me of some of the little towns in Kentucky where I grew up

That is a huge problem for us and influences our politics. Most move to Southeast Florida along the coast. It is literally New York City South. When they come down of course they bring their political views with them so we end up with a transplant from New York as a congress lady. And we get nuts like this.

Good morning. Well that game last night didn't help my feelings about our upcoming games. I'm glad we're bowl eligible for the third year in a row but it's going to be hard for me to entertain thoughts of doing something extremely special this year.

As far as I know I am not going outside today. In fact, that's the only real plan.

Blue White game might be a little more rough and tumble than usual. Guys are competing for starting positions and playing time.

Supposed to play golf in the morning and it will be in the 30's when I leave. I used to play year round and I've got all the clothes to do that comfortably, but I just don't want to anymore. Pretty sure this will be my last round this year.

Coffee is going down good this morning.

I'll probably have spicy chili for breakfast here in a bit. That will make two breakfasts in a week that contain jalapenos. It's an excellent morning pepper.

It's a shame that CJ Conrad has been relegated to blocking duty only. Attempted one pass to him last night and it was thrown terribly. Football must be so complicated that it transcends common sense.

Looking forward to this holiday season. I consider Halloween to be the start and it runs nonstop all the way to New Years. That period also encompasses my wife's birthday and our anniversary. There may be weight gain.

My first house looked exactly like this is except the garage was on the left. Same floor plan and built the same year about 3 miles from where this model was.

I paid $12,100 but it was completely furnished including the kitchen utensils, pots and pans and tools including a lawn mower. The owner was from New York and wanted to go back home so he took only his clothes and automobile and left me the rest. For newly weds who had nothing but the clothes on our backs what a better way to start off.
