D-League

Good Sunday morning D-League, we are blessed people.

Current temp is 85 with a high of 90 this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine with 15 percent chance of showers.
Still celebrating our victory and I must admit celebrating some for other teams. A lot of teams I dislike went down yesterday and another one almost did. They looked terrible.

Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. The little old church is in Lake City, FL

Good morning from ATX. Currently 74°F and foggy. Expecting upper-80s and partly cloudy.

Yes, much great football yesterday. Unfortunately TCU Horned Frogs lost to the evil Ohio State Buckeyes.

Chores and errands on the agenda today.

Y'all behave.
That was one I was pulling hard for the Frogs.

Morning D
well, the crud is back and this time it's settled into my chest; throat hurts and I'm coughing. Feel like kaka
Good day of football yesterday. LSU/Auburn probably the most fun to watch
Hope that Louisville player is okay - that was scary to watch

no coffee this morning; I usually switch to hot tea when I'm congested. We have to leave around noon to go get my youngest. Not looking forward to that
y'all behave

Infection?

chicken soup & incubation = :)
Being old school, I incubate a day or two (short term) with an opiated cough suppressent (codeine) with promethazine (antihistamine) cocktail (14 proof). (Codeine phosphate 10mg, promethazine HCl 6.25mg; per 5mL; syrup with alcohol 7%)

I fully acknowledge that I'm no doctor, but for my extended societal blessings, I attempt to cocoon, sleep past the infectious symptoms and not share.'s, Get well soon.

Sorry. Hope you feel better soon.

Fortunately the UL player is OK. He's alert and moving his fingers and toes. It was scary.

Just ate breakfast. 1/2lb of bacon and 3 eggs scrambled with cheese. I guess she thought I was hungry. Along with the pint of coffee I drank I think I'm sufficiently fueled to head to the shop.

I'm going to make a run to the sawmill tomorrow to pick up a couple of cedar boards. I have enough to squeak by but I've decided to go heavier with the doors and drawer faces. I've also decided to make the table top a little longer and that subtracts from the extra wood I was going to have.

I used to drive by Lake City all the time.

If the siding was white it would look like the little country church that I used to go to.

Good morning. I watched all of one football game yesterday. Supposed to be windy here today with gusts up to 40 mph. Florence.

I don't know what I'm going to do today but I would assume it will inconsequential.

@Bert Higginbotha I found out today that I received your package yesterday. Thank you so much!
@ymmot31 you are getting old and slow!

You have been around me too long!

My distant cousin is a perfect example of over educating a Kentucky boy!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  • Good Afternoon, D-Leagueanites and Lurkers.
  • 77º in Johns Creek. Overcast from Florence. Just a smidgen of rain.
  • We need to hear from SCCat.
  • Those poor folks in NC are catching Hell from the rivers flooding.
  • Nice win yesterday over Murray.
  • I watched a guy build a log-cabin in the Canadian Wilderness yesterday and this morning. He knows how to do it.
  • Pine straw everywhere here.
  • The IDMOs thing last night was driving vehicles with no taillights. Lots of that. Stay safe today. Beware the IDMOs.
  • Carry on. Please check in SCCat. More coffee. I miss that.

Sawnee, I meant to tell you the other day that I am enjoying the photos that you are putting on here.
Thanks Don, while I was ailing I had the opportunity to go through boxes of family stuff that mother gave me before she died. A lot of pictures, old post cards, love letters between my grandparents, etc. Thanks for letting me know you enjoy. If I get carried away please let me know.

Ever eat cotton candy grapes? Expensive at $4.98 lb, but delicious.

Life is good.

I'm really glad I checked the D-League before my trip to Kroger this afternoon. I picked up a bag of these and they're delicious! Per the company's web site, the season ends around September 20th so buy them now. Expensive but worth it. Thanks Austin!

I got some too. Everyone loved them. They cost too much.
