Good afternoon. Home from golf and glad of it. It was nice outside this morning at 0700 but it didn't take long to get hot. I think I started sweating on about hole 3. Lost a few balls today but kept my score in the double digits. Nice course, Glen Oaks.

Couple of hours until we head downtown for the Queen show. I suppose we'll go have dinner somewhere first. It'll be like a date except for it will be with my wife.

Looking forward to football tomorrow and I'm glad it's a nooner so I don't have to wait all day. We need to steamroll these guys to make people pay attention. A slim victory will give confirmation to the naysayers.

Took my 3 year old Great Granddaughter to the County Fair last night. Road every ride that she could and had no fear but too afraid to pet Daisy the cow.

Rough day at work today. Tried to run a trial for R&D...we failed. Got our ass kicked. I told a few of the guys "So this is what it feels like to be an IU fan?!" Nothing we tried worked.

The redhead is baby sitting the new grand daughter tonight. My daughter said she needed to get outta the house. It was a pretty easy sell to Grandma. I may head over later...

Probably hit up St Joe Inn for dinner...it's close by and good. Win Win.

very tired this morning; didn't get much sleep. On my second cup of coffee but betting I'll fall back to sleep before long
DIL is coming to pick up my youngest to spend the weekend at her place. So Hubby and I get to have a date weekend. I think we're going out tonight to see a local band play - they're quite good, great music.
Game at noon tomorrow; hope we don't have an emotional let down after last weekend.
I should probably get dishes done and laundry going....

I have no doubt you're tired. A lot of stress for you and your family.

Made it thru. Just put Anna down for the night. Her place lost power for a couple of hours and Nana and I weren’t taking chances. Went and picked her up. She had meatballs for her evening snack.

71° F and clear here this morning. Looks like the Carolinas are going to get some historic rain like Houston did last year. Good luck to the folks down that way. Ghost has checked in but we have CatfaninSC still missing. He is probably out swimming in the swamp with his snake friends!

80 with a high of 91 today. The Carolinas are wet but blue skies are on the way. The clean up will start and the realization of the tremendous loss will hit hard to those who lost most of what they had. Our prayers continue and the outpouring of help from neighboring states will be uplifting. Our local power company has sent a caravan of trucks to repair lines and restore electricity. God bless and keep them safe.

Looking forward to today's game as I am expecting 3-0 by sun down and a focus to get ready for the stretch coming up. We have quite a challenge ahead. Go Cats.
