Porch and coffee have already commenced and ceased.

Doing inside chores today. Spent much of last two days outside, need an interior break. Will be mowing all pay yards tomorrow. Youngest daughter will be weed eating for $$$$. I'm glad. I hate weed eating.

Be safe all.

Uncle Jed, I don't like to weed eat either. Hard on my back for several days if I do. I try to get my boys, 14 and 17, to do it. How old is your youngest daughter? My youngest is 11. She mows but is probably not strong enough to weed eat. Wife doesn't like for her to mow because of a few inclines in our 2 acres, but she does a real good job. Inside jobs for me too today. Putting up some trim in two downstairs bedrooms.

For anyone, of my two ice makers, the bottom one has suddenly stopped working. We have a Frigidaire Gallery. The wirelike arm is down in the proper position. Wife had dumped the ice out of the container and after that it stopped making ice. Anyone had any experience with that sort of thing?

Oh, good morning to all. FCC.

Anyone else remember calling a refrigerator a "frigaderry"? I grew up completely isolated in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. We never even owned a car until I was 16. We never went anywhere. I was a stereotypical "hillbilly" when I left to go "up north" when I was 18. People I worked with nicknamed me "Hillbilly" or "Reb." I have lived out of the South for most of my life but still have a pronounced Southern drawl, insomuch that the first thing that strangers ask me immediately is where I am from.

Reset the arm. Might not have caught. Some have a pressure or gear switch that is tripped to make ice, might have gone bad.
Check water filter in frig if you have one might be clogged.
Could be water line is clogged or water sensor has gone bad in the housing.
Make sure ice bin is fully seated in position.

Good luck.

When I lived in Ventura after I spoke they thought I was from Oklahoma.

I have killed every brand of icemaker. I am horrible at getting good frigs. I have a Frigidaire in the garage that the ice maker quit working for the third time. I figured a replacement was cheaper than continually fixing the ice maker.

Wrong. I am now replacing the Whirlpool that I bought to replace the Frigidaire.

I am now getting a Maytag. It was supposed to be delivered between noon and 4. They called at 2 saying it was not going to be delivered until Saturday. Now most of my cool food has been moved to the garage.

Survived another day in the heat and lost track of how much water I drank. Didn't play too badly today. Didn't play too goodly either though.

Leaving out early in the morning to pick up Dad and we're going to Ft. Knox to do whatever people do when they visit there. I don't know how much of the day that will take but if there's time we'll hit a piddler mall on Dixie Hwy on the way home.

Diet's going well. Lost 7 pounds so far. Won't check again until Sunday.

Got tags for the van today. It was time since they expired last month.

Might get my drivers license renewed on Friday. It also expired last month.

All things in due time.

Good evening D!

Now playing:

That great that your daughter mows and does a good job.

She’s 19. Wants money. So it’s a win win. She used a black and decker 20V that I have. Gas one if batteries run out. She does a good job. Proud of her. A year at UK has taught her some good money lessons.

I've got a B and D 34 volt lithium and the only problem I have with it is the charge lasts too long. I'm done weed eating long before that evil beast will stop spinning.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 77°F. Expecting upper-90s later today.

Mowed back yard late yesterday afternoon. Our humidity down here pales in comparison to TN or FL. Mowing front yard come Saturday.

Recovery from these trips and one-week drinking binges has been a challenge. Hell, it's all fun.

I've got nothing else. Y'all behave.

Good morning! Just stopped in to say hi. I'm out the door in a few minutes to pick up Dad for the day. I did some research and I might lobby to do something besides Ft. Knox today. Not much that he can do there that would be worth the time and effort to get our ID's to enter. I'll let him make the call.

See ya this afternoon. Have a good one.

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
  • 73º in Johns Creek. Beautiful morning.
  • 1st mug of DM gone.
  • Waiting for #1 & #4 to get up.
  • #1 talked to the dealership owner and they are payiing for his debacle last weekend. Turns out that #1 knows some guys that know the owner. So it turned out okay. and #1 will not have to go the small claims court way.
  • Backyard lawn looks just beautiful.
  • Stay safe.
  • Carry on.
