This is when she first got sick. Puts a lump in my throat. She was a sweet dog.

Dogs are the greatest. You would be in the worst mood coming home but for me, it does not last long when greeted by the pack. That is what we call them anyway. Just got a 4th over the weekend. Was in the back yard last night with the new puppy trying to get them socialized. She has already taken to my wife and daughter and started protecting them against the other dogs. 4 1/2 months so, training to socialize has begun to ensure compatibility with the others.

Speaking of pets, my wife now has to feed the raccoon first or he'll muscle in and start eating the cat food she takes out there. Luckily he's a table scrap kinda guy. She says he comes up there when she goes out with food and when she tells him to go back to the shed he turns around goes there and waits for her. I told her that coons are much smarter than cats.

I also told her not to corner him in any way and no matter how tame he may seem, he's not and not to try and pet him. He won't interpret it as a kind gesture. She'll probably end up getting bit sooner or later.

I did a load of laundry and some yard work today also. Did dishes and cleaned the living room and kitchen as well. Started off the day by taking my wife to work. Tomorrow I'm going on an adventure with Dad and that's all I'm doing.

Yesterday, storm hit at 4 pm, dust, wind, & rain. Broke stuff, made a mess, the cable went down for 5 hours. We need the storm moisture. Lightning caused fires, not so much.

Yeah, there are more that went to the tournament but, they could not make it for picture night. That one was in the local newspaper. We have about 30-35 students right now and growing.

Funny you should mention speed talkers because, just a moment ago, we had a women come to our office whose mouth was in over drive. Could not keep up with her as she was telling her life story to a coworker as she was waiting for us to get her travel worked. Looked at my coworker and she was frantically trying to get done as quickly as possible to get rid of this woman. Kind of sounded like Married Mans wife (John Boy and Billy show) talking on the phone.

Was coming home from Casa Grande to Florence and the temperature dropped 45 degrees within a half hour. Got a good rain so I won't have to wash my gravel in the front yard. The desert loved the rain.
